I'm sceptical about the usefulness of these programs. All the thief needs to do after they steal a symbian phone is to turn it off, put in their sim card, then do a Hard Format. The phone is theirs.

i do not agree....you have to activate the "pw-protection when sim-change" and they will not be able to use the stolen phone with their own sim-card!

yup, but you still don't have your phone back do you? they still have your phone, even though the cannot use it... so the best way is to leave the PW protection when sim change function off, and enable EzProtect, hoping that they don't know how to format.

this way allows ezprotect to send SMSs to your backup number, giving u the thief's identity.

Still prefer phone secure 1.42 think its unbreakable when install under phone memory and when U changed the sim card it will automatically sms the new sim phone number so U can identify the thief

About phone secure, the previous vs got some bugs, I got big problem with the... :D Got to send some 4-5 sms to unlock the evil app :))
