the 6230 is a S40 phone and theres plenty of MSN apps for these phones, ill post a couple here...

theres a 60 day version of IM+, after your 60 days are up, uninstall it and keep re installing it over and over :)

minichat is ok but troublesome logging on at times

chat2cell is good, you may need to register, ill pm you there address to register

6230 does run on GRPS as do most phones and as for it being expensive, i have chatted for about 3 hours at a cost of about £1.00. buy the full version of im+ (its by far the cheapest to run) set it up to use tcp/ip in the settings which gives a direct and cheaper connection to MSN.

Is not working for me.
Still get the message, Error in connection.
Which settings should I set?
(for 6230i)

Hi there, which application isnt working? minichat is unreliable at the best of times so you may get that error alot, im+ is alot better and chat2cell works well and allows you to log onto different messengers but you do need to register a username and password with their web site. i hope this helps.

Ok, first of all, go here h**p://w*w.getjar.com/software to look at the different apps for IM. Personally, i've found that this app is excellent: Mxit - firstly, it's free. It's an app made in South Africa, and all you have to do is register using the app - no costs. So go to w*w.mxit.co.za from your pc (dl the .jar file while viewing the .jad file from the links) or go to w*w.mxit.co.za/wap to dl to your phone. Just remember, if your phone isn't there, just select a similar model to yours. K - enjoy!!!
