Cheers for link but that nintendo emu . Duke nukem 3d (11mb packed) heretic 3d (15mb packed) and half life (approx 7.5mb packed) are all out to run on C2doom emulator engine using wad files.(use approx double packed size when opened) Seen them . Problem is all the links on the site with them are now dead. Waiting for new ones . If they happen i will try to share as these games look awesome ! Attached pictures of duke and heretic which have good graphics but not of half life though i have seen and is just like pc version with amazing graphics better than duke and heretic ! If anyone has these already please post !

As for the halflife wad, i'm not sure it works because the titlescreen appears but when i wanna start a game it crashes. (same problem with the Quake file).
Edit: i have a 6630 so it's not like my phone is too slow.

You have to rename the files into one of the existing doom wads (example: DOOM.WAD,doom.wad,DOOM2.WAD,PLUTONIUM.WAD or tnt.wad).
Take notice that you do not have 2 same filenames in the map.

having a few probs duke nukem i can start up but when i go to play it closes and heretic just gives me a whits screen no probs with doom 2. i am using 9500 not yet tried on my other s60 phones.

it gives system error on ma phone what shal i do?

all work on my n-gage 'cept for HL(crashes after opening the first door)...

on my 6680 only doom wads,duke and heretic work,quke2 and hl doesnt...

The DUke mod is just the first level, right? I'm not missing out on anything am I? It works fine on my n-gage. But crashes when I hit the end of level button. And the creative use of elevators is a great way of getting around the lack of a jump key in doom.

It's confirmed HL doesnt work on Ngage. It hangs after title screen, and gives a loud buzz sound....

still got the same prob on my qd and may i say these games suck on ngage doom 2 is absoloute crap the colours suck and it lags alot... these games are the best on 9500 ;-)

Of course it works better on the new generation phones than on the n-gage
1. Those phones have twice the speed than the N-gage
2. the n-gage can only display 4096 colors while the others do 65.000.

i know im not retarted mate. just after playing doom on 9500 i put it on my QD and i was amazed at the difrence there was as i was expecting a little not a lot. and just empasising how good this aplication is on the 9500. also tried multiplayer between my 6600, QD, 7610 and 9500 and none of them wanted to do it. any one had any luck with multiplayer?

Half life working just on my 6680 and 7610 but nothing else does . Get all sorts of error messages ? Tried rename but no luck. Also found on 7610 with .wad in e\system\apps half life works but on 6680 must be on e\system or not work !Spent all day messing with it ! Found on both phones button 7 closer game but on 6680 it restarts phone ! Having fun getting through 1st door !? We need a tutorial guide on naming and location etc as post above runs duke on 6680 not half life but my 6680 is the opposite ! Anyone ? :( :o maybe different games must be in different location to work . Even though text says not my phones appear to demonstrate this . Will try but can members post where exactly they have their .wad files so we can compare :-) cheers.:)

Half-Life works on my n-gage. If it crashes just keep trying. If it keeps crashing in a specific place just use the level warp feature ( -warp "levelnumber" ).

You must be a very rich bloke to buy a 9500 "communicator phone" to play DOOM. :D

these games is absolutely good but here my list of working wads on my 6600 v4.09 :
DOOM - WITHOUT SOUND
DOOM2 - FULL AND VERY GOOD GAME
PLUTONIA - FULL
HERETIC - FULL
DUKE 3D - WHEN TRY TO REACH LEVEL2 IT CRASHES !!
CS - DOSENT WORK
HL - WORK WITH PROBLEMS AS DUKE
