I own an Billionton using IVT Blue Soliel Technology the problem is that the driver wich came with the device did not work Nokia PC Suite was not able to detect it and then I downloaded latest driver it was working with my 6230i but now I own a 6600 and it does not seem to work with and the PC Suite of 6600 does not detect and Bluetooth Device. I think there is a support issue as in the older versions of PC Suit there is no support written for IVT Blue Soliel so I think it is a compatibility issue please correct me if I am wrong and provide an appropriate solution to this problem

Happy to know ur problem was fixed dude.It must have been some mix-up with the serial ports u were configuring for PC suite as well as the IVT's main program.Ha d a little trouble muyself at first but then it worked after a few workarounds with the srial port settings:)

blue soleil rel 1.6.1 from website.
all software are the latest and come with bug fixes . but n-gage still does not work.

Hi nitai..or is it just Nita..i have been using the BlueSoleIl adaptor with my 6600 for over a year now.And yes it did give some problems initially with the serial port connection but once it worked..then never stopped working:) Ok here are some things which might help you.
(1) When u installed the drivers for ur adaptor..did u go on clicking many times for the serial port install till like serial port 13-14?? If yes then uninstall and reinstall the driver and when it asks oyu again n again for the serial port installation just stop it after say the 9th or 10th serial port.
(2)In ur main BlueSoleIl window..u will have serial port A as well as B service if im not mistaken ..right?Never leave both the services to atart automatically on startup. And do keep in mind the ione that u have chosen for use with ur phone is not assigned for anything else..it could be ur analogue or even samsung modems. The serial port service will say the COM port no in brackets..Like Serial Port A(COM6) service.
(3) If u have done all the things correctly then.Connect ur N-gage with bluesoleil first>connect via serial port service. It may say connection failed!! but that doesnt matter.Go ahead and open the PC Suite.Wait for a few seconds and the M-router window will start connecting and the bluesoleil will show <ur phone> has connected to serial port A/B COM? service. If the PC Suite window says connected/offlien..dont worry..exit PC Suite and open it again..and it will work.Hope this helps you

Hmmm...you guys should switch over to WIDCOMM . Its the best ,got the most features and hasnt given me any problems so far. Cracked version available in the bluetooth section on the forums..

Used widcomm..but they seem to have conflicts with the already existing support drivers for blutooth in XP SP2..resulting in frequent BSODs.Bluesoleil..however doesnt have this problem..widomm..uses the the inherent windows XP BT service..whereas bluesoleil starts its very own service..so can rund on its own too:)

Sorry for the late reply nita..have been away for sometime.Well as i said earlier..u must know specifically what serial port ur connecting through in ur bluettoth application window and specify the same in ur connection manager/mRouter. By the way i must ask you onr more question..are you using any sort of software firewall..if yes then there are about 6-7 srvices programs which u need to grant server rights to in ur firewall settings.mRouer should be given server rights and sevices/programs like SCFRS.exe, CAPMAN.exe, CONNMAN.exe and some more (depending on what version of PC Suite you are using should be given rights to access the internet(these seings are ypically for Zone Alarm which im using).Do reply n ell me if this was of any help to you..and please be more clear about the serial port numbers(used for bluetooth connectivity) that would help me to be more helpful to you..tae care:)
