Anybody have a problem to unlock new A1000?

Just try to search for eti camcoder under the uiq section. BR. But i am quite interested in how to unlock A1000. Do we really need to unlock?

I have two a1ks one was flashed with the generic firmware. The other stock 3g. I took both phones to a top guy in uxbridge, pavillions. I think he used a smartclip unlocker (blue patterened top) The stock 3g one refused to accept any other sim card??? But the flashed one unlocked perfectly. I then thought nothing to lose and flashed the 3g one. Low and behold my vodafone sim card worked fine in it. It could be that the 3g firmware has further restrictions that rejects any other network even though the phone has been successfully unlocked. Any thoughts?
