Description : This is a recreation of de_dust from counter-strike 1.5.
with few weapons and sounds

Additional Credits : Everyone from symbian forums, valve for cs, mertama for
c2doom, falken80x for half-life commandos sprites and
everyone that i forgot :P
Bugs : MANY! :/ Game randomly may crash etc

Version : 0.1:
- first release!
- added breath effect (great on headphones :P)

To-do list :
- fix bots (not included in 0.1)
- fix bug levels
- fix textures
- fix some sounds
- add better st_bar than actual (not added in 0.1)
- CS RULES! if mertama add .deh and scripts support..

Other: : "Monsters" sprites has been copied from half-life, for faster
release :P
Put CS01.wad in mmc/WAD/CS. Tested on c2doom 1.02.
Note that this is not the newer version that i have on hdd...

Here is how I made mine work:
I am using N-gage QD.

* Copy the extracted folder "WAD/CS/CS01.wad" to MMC directory E:
Result should be :"E:/WAD/CS/CS01.wad"

*At first I installed the c2doom from page1, I run the game, I chose "Reset WAD files" from the menu in c2doom, 1st try "No wad files", 2nd try "Use CS01.wad?" of course I confirmed "yes", when i started the "Single-Player" game, I got the error message "W_initfiles: No files found" or something.

*Then I downloaded another c2doom installer from [Only registered and activated users can see links]
I downloaded the one for S60.

*I uninstalled the previous one, installed the new one and, there yah go!Worked smoothly, I didn't even have to "Reset WAD files" again.

*Also worked on my friends 6600

perfect! working on 7610... just copy wad file on E:/Wad/"Cs01.wad" then restart phone. if the error still there, before starting the game go to menu then reset wad files select Cs01.wad... may need to retasrt again!

i think you should restart ur phone after install the c2doom.the c2doom on the [Only registered and activated users can see links] works for me .i also have the problem before but after i restart it works.

Well ive created E:\ WAD new directory...

So put all WAD FILES in E:\Wad

I think that should do it... and wait until program scans it...it may take long, but u dont see, just let it run for some time, then restart and try again... :P

UPDATE: No, the wad file is a bit too large, the N6260 don't have enough power(RAM) to run it.

howd you made it work? I installed the game and copied the wad file to mmc and after opening the program Error: W_initFiles: no files found.. i tried resetting the wad file same thing happends.. sorry im a newbie can you please help...

Working on my 6681 ... but sometimes while launching the game the phone restarts .. but upon launching the game again it runs fine ....

Finally i got the thing working by using cs2.0... nice crisp graphics and gameplay

from what I read it seems a nice game but i can't play it on my siemens sx1, when i finaly managed to make it trough all the errors i get a black screen and i need to restart the phone. I would realy apreciate it if anyone could help

You have to patch you sx1 using the n-gage patch from SMO! (You will loose garanty if you do that!)

Hi hommies! CS.wad work on my 6630. When I trying with 6600 play(bluetooth), my c2doom is closed. If you want play with bluetoth, just press red button in loading time, wait 3 sec. and run c2Doom.

cs dont work on my phone too:( i have downloaded that c2doom launcher that should be working. c2doom shows loading and nothing happens after 10minutes

THIS GAME is very FUN 2 play on bt! Specially for CS freaks.

There are instructions how to install this emulator and the game on the first page, if you don't understand you can get back to me but I can also advice you to look for something more easy to install on your phone, are a lot of games here on the forum compatible with your phone.

You just have to find them, send to your phone by cable or bluetooth for the installation to start. Br.

Yup, it works on SX1 cos I've played it (got it on my phone right now). Try 2 restart phone or run in n-gage mode. U no what it's like with SX1 - very fussy phone.
Oh, and one more thing: u need 2 rename .wad 2 tnt.wad 4 instance. But I'm not sure if I have the same version of cs as it's here. Anyway, eDoom is better than c2doom for sure.

You don't send the rar file to your phone! The .rar or .zip files must be unpacked( open ) on your computer. To unpack a .rar or .zip file you need the program Winrar. Winrar you can also find here on the forum, use the search. Tip: Winrar is under PC Multimedia and Appz links.

Files compatible to your phone are .jar( java ) or .sis( symbian ) that you normaly find after unpack all the zip or rar files.

Unless you use an emulator application like Vboy, Vsun, ...

• In this case of Counter-Strike it is a .wad file. On the first page there is the emulator eDoom( .sis ) to install on your phone and the game .wad (Counter-Strike) that you have to send to your phone and place it in the same location of the emulator eDoom like your mmc card. (Install apps and games on your mmc to save your phone memory!!!)

• My advice: If you are starting on your new phone I advice you to look up in the forum for all the great java games and even better symbian games, easy to install and play. Forget emulator for now, try it later! ;)

if youve tried only one time, try it a second time.

other solutions:

type in "parameters" in the c2doom-idlescreen-options the parameter "-commercial". if it even wont work try in parameters this: "-warp 1" (if it works you should directly get the 1st map). if it even wont work, i dont know :???:

no, it didnt work, still just a restart:( when i start c2doom i have 7.2mb free ram, is that enough? 7.2 after i have compressed memory with appman.

the best thing to do is to put your c2doom on the memory of your phone and the wad on an empty memory card,i guess you still have an old 64mb somewhere.

is you wad-file called CS.WAD or is it otherwise called? if its called cs.wad and if it has only 1 map, youre using the very old version.... ive released a 4-map version with new weapons etc....

....you should try typing in the parameters "-commercial".. then its often working...

it works on my 6630 faultless (c2Doom), but i think its not good, orginal doom is much better, but big up for dude who made it
