BCReader allows to decode barcodes in EAN13 format - most widespread international format.

Scanning and decoding barcodes
Saving decoded bar codes in phone data base
Saving title name, price and description for scanned thing

Requirements:
Add-on macro lens required for scanning bar codes smaller than 3 inches(7.5 cm). For scanning typical size of barcodes (4 cm) need Add-on macro lens for scanning distanse 5cm (3.5x-4x scaled lens)

Descriptions of work:
In scanning mode the BCReader every second automatically makes a snapshot and is trying to decode it and you don't need to do anything. If decoding was successful the BCReader shows title name and price for scanned thing if this thing already exist in phone's database. If the barcode was scanned first time then BCReader will offer to enter title name, price and description.

Hi, installed it and its asking for an activation code, i tried 0s and 1s it didn't work
