Elite Systems Paperboy v1.1.11 S60 J2MEv2 Retail-daddyfatsax

The 'Officially Licenced' mobile phone game version of the 80's SUPER smash-hit coin-operated arcade game from Elite / Midway

Pick up your old Push Bike, put on your peaked cap and Imagine yourself braving the streets of an American suburb!

In this single-player retro classic you play a baseball cap-wearing freckle-faced paperboy who lobs newspapers at subscribing houses as he cycles by. If you neglect a house or damage it by chucking a paper through a window, the owner un-subscribes. Your aim, of course, is to get through seven days without losing all your customers.

If you think that sounds too easy, then don't forget that you will also have to simultaneously avoid obstacles, such as remote control cars, dogs, road works, and runaway mowers (the comic minutiae of suburban life).

GAMEPLAY FATURES

There are three areas to take on: Easy Street, Middle Road, and Hard Way.

In each area, the obstacles becoming successively more numerous and dangerous as you progress .

Each street is followed by a training course where you throw papers at targets and leap over ramps to rack up even more bonuses.

HISTORY

First launched in 1984 as an Atari (now Midway) arcade game, Paperboy was ported to home computer formats by Elite and sold in Europe throughout the 80s and early 90s to the figure of 1,000,000 units sold Europe, Australasia.
