Hi to all,
i just want to know how to simulate an SMS. I mean, what are the tools and information on how to simulate an SMS. Some says that I can make it using VB with SDK, Mobile ActiveX and PC Connectivity. I am humbly asking what are your ideas and opinion regarding it.
PS: I dont know if you get my point but what im trying to pull is that I want to know how SMS works and I want to make a software/hardware simulation in order for me to send and to receive SMS using cell/sim to network to cell/sim.
to mods, If posting here isnt to right section, im humbly sorry. I just think that there's a programming in it.

wow, this thread is old, ive dug up since i've been looking for something similar
now, YES you can make a program with the sdk by using Mobile activeX by OxygenSoftware- which allows you to communicate with your phone, send sms, flashsms, reports, logos, operator logos, read inboxes and the like, HOWEVER the supplied version on the demo download are crippled. whenever you try to punch in some data, and send to sms,(or logo's)
some embededded txt and small images will be pasted onto your input data.
i've tried uncrippling it myself (with basic knownledge in minor protection kicking)
so far, ive managed to get rid the LOGO cripplings.
--btw, is sending sms, operate with sms from your machine/pc, down to the phone then sim to the network /vice/versa is what you're trying to accomplish, if so then YES! go to the oxygen software website to get the SDK with a VB project demo on how it is used. :peace: kabayan

If you want to simulate sending sms and use emulator to capture it, you can use Celluar Emulator, which is in Window Mobile 6.0 SDK.
