by Symbianware

Enjoy reading books with eBook!

If one of your hobbies is reading then eBook will become the indispensable application for your smartphone!

eBook allows reading books in eBook Aportis (.prc) format!

If your favourite book is in text format then you can install our free utility eBookMaker to convert books to .prc format.

eBook consists of two main views: Library view and Book view.

Library view:

In this view you can see a list of books stored in the eBook library and Inbox. You can add a new book to the Library, delete books already read, view the detailed information about the book and open the book for reading.

Book view:

In this view you can see a book you want to read. If you see incomprehensible characters instead of the clear text try to switch the Code Page.

eBook allows text search with the following commands: Find (Hot key: 'C') and Find Next (Hot key: '5').

To read your favourite book you don't need to move its pages around by yourself, just switch on the auto scroll mode and enjoy the reading!

To mark the interesting or important place in the book you can use the following Navigation menu commands: Add bookmark and Go to bookmark.

There are several view layouts for the maximum text view comfort: Portrait, Landscape 900 CW, Landscape 900 CCW.

To change the view go to the menu Misc / layout.

Note: if you have changed the Portrait layout on the Landscape layout together with the text the keys will be changed as well!

To change background colour and text colour use the command in the Misc menu / Inverse (Hot key: '#')

Settings:

Here you can define eBook 'look and feel' and customize the following options: Show title, Show buttons, Font name, Font size, Font colour, Backlight mode (Always on/Normal)

QReader (h**p://www.qreader.com) is best of all readers in my opinion, is very customisable and also supports antialised truetype fonts, which makes it a pleasure to use.
