Overview
The Notepad for Symbian is a personal productivity application for smartphones that allows editing text documents. This application has functionality like an ordinary text editor "Notepad" in Windows. It has a good known Windows XP GUI design, which makes it a highly user friendly. With the Notepad for Symbian you can edit text documents that were created on a stationary PC and copied to mobile phone. And text documents created by Notepad for Symbian can be transferred to PC.

Edit mode.
You can type text, make selection, cute/copy/paste selected text

Edit menu.
Selet neccessary action. Support undo action and finding text.

File list menu.
Files shows in list placed in "C:\Notepad" in your phone.
If you want to edit file, created on stationary PC, you need copy them to "C:\Notepad".
Files created on PC must be saved in UNICODE format.

Nice to get latest version of this app i do find the copy/paste easier to use on this than on my 6680 default notepad :-) cheers erik :-)

This is a nice and useful app but Yedit is definitely the best editor for Symbian in my eyes although it gets quite slow when reading larger files.

Hi guys, I'm experiencing problems with this notepad, since I open any txt file it displays only symbols and no text. Very unuseful.
I can't find some settings to change the view-mode, it's very strange

HI barabba, forget Unteh notepad and try Yedit 2.55
It's the best ASCII editor for symbian OS
