Apart from recording before calling, I don't think there is anything else you can do...

Maybe you are not using Nokia Phone, are you?

I think there is no way to get rid of the beep sound during recording for NOKIA phone...

sumitto and all the rookies: please don't joke. Here isn't the place to be a god.

We still searching a recorder that never beeps from years... ALL THE RECORDERS beep, u aren't the one who has miracle. Listen carefully and u will hear the beep.

I've tried a lot to ask programmers and cracker to build a program that doesn't use the Nokia record libraries that still beeps for all the program uses them! No results :(

It doesn't beep when you record outgoing call but it beeps when you record incoming calls....and I think recording incorming calls is more important than outgoing calls.

I think I have to make this correction.

I doesn't beep for outgoing call recording for the first few minutes (about 5 minutes), after that it starts to beep.....

I've tried it yesterday and it BEEPS in both directions. I use a 6600 5.27.

Sorry guy this softw beeps like the others hundred ones, if u're experiencing beep after 5 minutes u're lucky cause your phone has a FW bug or some other application load at all the cpu.. but this sw uses the Nokia libraries to record and that libraries BEEP.
End of discussion.

OK buddies,
I've bought CallRecorder (SymbiaWare) for N9300 for only one reason :
I could hear beep while CallRecording is activated, but other party can't, I think most important for the people know that recording in progress, and other party can't control if it is recording. Beeping in my phone doesn't disturb me.

use powqerdictaphone..

wappy
12th January 2006, 19:17
powqerdictaphone still sound the sh**ty beep, I head that Nokia has blocked this options due to diplomatic requests, this is a real pity, I tired to erase the BEEP file from the nokia memory via System Explorer but it was read only file, if any of you guys has a base PC application that can explore the phone and modify the RAM memory it can be very helpful to try and sort it out,
i'm dying for a cool recorder without a beep, I tired almost 10 programs already but none of them seem to avoid the beepy sounds.

Good luck to us all

you know the beep file? then why not place a replace file in the c:\ of the phone? just like viruses do, it replaces the one in ROM

I've thought of this months ago but when I tried to do it, it CAN'T be done.

I tried to change the attribute (cancel/unclick the read only), it says "Error occurred, operation stopped". So I don't think there is anything can be done on this...

Too bad...

WHERE is this alleged beep file? Is it midi, wav, what? Up until now I was under the impression that the beep was generated, not read from a file!

gt_thegame
16th January 2006, 22:07
the beep is generated by the phone due to legal obligations as both parties should know if the call is being recorded or not...

Stone-D
16th January 2006, 23:06
Dammit, such restrictions should only apply in select countries, a whole subset of features is ruined because of this. Grrrr.

Eltima.Software.Smart.Call.Manager.v5.23.15.S60.Sy mbianOS7.Cracked-BiNPDA

ALL credits (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/#) to Binpda for cracking and providing this app mod :)

Automate the conversations (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/#) and take full control of your calls! Smart Call Manager for Symbian OS is a comprehensive suite to handle incoming and outgoing calls, log and record each and every conversation, set up and use Answering Machine, create and group your own short text (SMS (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/#)) and audio messages to automate your calling activities (no built-in Dictaphone is required at all - sounds are recorded using built-in microphone) and lots more. Make your smartphone (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/#) your all-in-one secretary and reply to incoming calls with only one button!

Smart Call Manager is designed to improve your call handling productivity and effectiveness. Imagine that you are on the business meeting and cannot accept a call directly. With Smart Call Manager it is no longer a problem! You may accept the call and answer it by selecting from pre-recorded audio messages or text messages (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/#). Smart Call Manager allows you to create your own groups for sounds and messages, providing the necessary features for small database. When Smart Call Manager is activated you will see a convenient dashboard whenever you have an incoming/outgoing call. This screen lets you easily automate call's handling: reject, accept, callback, reply with predefined SMS or recorded audio message, enable answering machine (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/#), record the call, etc. You may specify the default action to be executed if you don't take the phone (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/#) for some time: Smart Call Manager will enable answering machine or automatically reject all incoming calls.

If you are always busy meeting your clients or attending various professional conferences and the phone rings in bad moments, get a copy of Smart Call Manager and it will handle all the calls for you and will help you personalize your approach to every caller!

We recommend you to use Smart Call Manager with hands-free kit.

Full features list:

* Manage incoming calls with only one button selecting from multiple handling options
* Accept and record incoming calls
* Activate/deactivate answering machine with personal greetings
* Accept/decline incoming call and reply by simple selecting from prerecorded messages or audio answers
* Accept/decline incoming call and automatically play predefined sound
* Decline the incoming call and send customized SMS (text messages)
* Specify the default action that will be executed automatically on incoming calls
* Define time delay for the default action
* Callback the caller and play predefined sound
* Record incoming and outgoing calls
* Play background sounds to conceal your location (using "*" smartphone button)
* Create, edit, remove and group custom sounds using software-based recorder (you don't need built-in dictaphone)
* Create, edit, group and manage SMS (short text messages)
Full history of incoming and outgoing calls (date, time, contact name, duration, etc.)
* On-screen indicator displays whether the program is running
* Simple and easy-to-use navigation menus

What's new:

Added: "Auto mute mic" is brought back
Added: "Unknown callers" and "Undefined callers" groups

Record calls without the "Beep" Sound.
Note that this is NOT a feature of the app but a BiNPDA mod and will only work on os8 phones.
Use it at your own risk.

this app wasn't released by BiNPDA yet & it was repacked by me :p
tested and working without a beep
