View Full Version : can't send MMS. [System Error]
razibhasan 27th September 2005, 10:43 Hey guyz,
When I am trying to send MMS from my N6600 then always after a while it shows me System Error. What's wrong with that?
Please help me.
Mark 27th September 2005, 17:45 try setting your connection settings again with nokia setting wizard and try again.
razibhasan 27th September 2005, 18:08 My connection setting is 100% correct. :(
My Operator sent me configuration message twice but still I cannot send MMS. :(
I'm afraid whether something is wrong in my N-6600.
However, I'll contact with my operator tomorrow again.
You guyz gimme a suggestion; can it be happened for device error?
Mark 27th September 2005, 20:43 could be. after contacting to operator and see if everything is fine, if it still doesn´t work you might have to format it.
razibhasan 28th September 2005, 01:10 Thanks for your reply Mark 6600. :) Definitely, I will let you know my operator's reply :).
razibhasan 28th September 2005, 02:03 Well, before contacting with my operator and formatting my phone I'm providing here some screenshots. I hope you guyz can give me some informations about this.

razibhasan 28th September 2005, 18:15
I have just formatted my phone (both MMS and phone memory). Then without installing any software I have tried to send an MMS (after configuring MMS). But still I am getting system error message :(.
What do you think now? Is the error in my Operator??
Please help me.
winwintoto1234 29th September 2005, 09:37 There is a size limit for MMS. Maybe the file you are sending is too big.
Btw, can you receive MMS? If yes, try to send the file received. If still getting error msg, you may have to make enquire from your Operator or send your phone for checking...
razibhasan 29th September 2005, 09:40 Nope! I have tried with even 1 KB mms ... but nothing worked .. however, my operator should contact with me soon ... i will let u know guyz ...
terryboy 29th September 2005, 10:53 do this.....
use a file manager and delete these 2 files
C:\System\bootdata\ frm here delete FirstBoot.dat
and
C:\System\ frm here delete System.ini
then remove ur mmc card
restart ur cell
then put it off again
put the mmc card back again
then try sending a message
it shuld work cuz i too had the same damn problem and after following thiese steps it worked for me
BTW: this is a totally safe cuz i have tested it myself of many cells (ngageQD/n6600/n6630 etc)
