MONA is an intelligent motion detection application for Series 60 mobile phones. It uses your mobile's integrated camera to detect motion and then sees an alarm and/or a picture from the alarm situation.

Intelligent alarming and image transfer

MONA programs the integrated camera of your phone to take pictures at specified intervals, uses a smart algorithm to detect movement between pictures, and then saves the pictures involving movement in the phone’s memory. Once motion is detected, MONA can be programmed to:

Trigger a sound alarm
Send a message to another mobile phone (SMS)
Send a picture of the situation to another mobile phone (MMS)
Send a picture of the situation through e-mail (GPRS)

Easy to configure and calibrate, MONA can be controlled remotely via SMS messages, for instance to request pictures from the scene. Naturally, you can view the saved pictures on your own mobile's image viewer or transfer them to a PC via bluetooth or an infrared connection.
