i can now set my ringtone as wma!!! try it to believe it!
tested on n6600 v 4.17

P.S. I can also play .wma opened in gallery. but not using wma player. just with voice recorder... i dont know how this happened i am keep searching my phone files how this happened. if other knows or discovered pls post. tnx

it is better to have a wma player than none.
pls follow the instruction above. copy the link, download and install. iv posted this file because i've thought it will be ok. but there is a problem when i copy this. just have a player. hehehe

wma files are usually bigger then mp3 and ogg so its really irrelevant that this works or not. its best to use ogg or mp3 instead.

heres another way u can play mp3 files on ur phone all u need is a card reader if u have one..ive tried this with my previous phone the 6600..transfer the music file onto the memory card via the memory card reader then put the memory card back in the phone go to your file manager go to the music file and rename the file so just delete the mp3 part and try it again it SHOULD work now

I THINK wma is MORE BETTER because in wma you can convert a music in a RADIO QUALITY in STEREO in just 2MB or more of file size. in tape quality 2.5+MB only.
USE ACOUSTICA MP3 AUDIO MIXER THEN SAVE AS WMA FILE THEN MAKE YOU CHOICE.

whats the point of having stereo quality files if the 6600 is only mono and has the worst audio quality of all s60 phones? for 6600 its no use to do any of this.

The wma sound gr8 on my 6630..automatically can set them into ringtones 8)
