What's new in Release 1.0.8:
Experimental new playback engine (see Options->Playback)
3 buffering modes:
No buffering - best for multi-tasking but unresponsive OggPlay UI
Single thread - Fewer audio dropouts but still unresponsive OggPlay UI (needs an extra 256K free memory)
Multi thread - Fewest number of audio dropouts, responsive OggPlay UI (needs an extra 1MB free memory)
2 thread priorities:
Normal - the default value, best for multi-tasking
High - Fewer audio dropouts, but not so good for multi-tasking
-24dB volume boost added
Features:
Main features of OggPlay for Series 60 phones:
+ Plays .ogg audio files
+ Recognize Winamp playlist (.m3u)
+ Free!
+ Skins (you can make your own, or use already made ones)
+ User defined hotkeys
+ Frequency analyzer
+ Extra sound amplification
+ Autoplay
+ Usual music player functions like shuffle and repeat

This is so that OGG files are recognized by the file system. You know, so you can open them in OGGPlay from a file explorer.

which phone are you using ??? this app should work if ur using a 3650 , 3660 , n-gage , n-gage qd.
if you are using a 6600 , 6630 , 7610 or any other symbian phone then download the "mmf" version. its posted on the forum.
barev 28th October 2005, 10:41 It should be working on all S60 phones but is mainly targeted for Siemens SX1 and Sendo X which both have stereo output.

I have same problem here. How to play ogg as ringtones on NGage like 6600.
benladene 28th October 2005, 18:56 it works on my 6630 perfectly...but i prefer the mmf version b/c it allows to play *.ogg files with the defaut player and set them like ringtones

Same here on the QD. THis has to be the "unstablest" unstable I have used thus far. Welp, back to 1.0.7.
