The following N-Gage Libs have been found to be the cause of system instability on Series60 phones:

Problems include:
* Problems recording video
* application crashes on exiting some games/apps (including
non N-Gage games!)
* Random phone reboots in some games/apps (including non
N-Gage games!)
* Various connectivity errors


Deleting these files from your System/Libs folder and then performing a reboot of your handset should improve system stability and still allow you to play N-Gage games. If an N-Gage game requires one or more of these files simply copy the required file(s) to the GAMES own folder (not the Libs folder!).

i am glad u liked it guys.this works with all kind of games java ngage s60 and thus u can control ur mobile from bluetooth distance until u can see the screen as u can configure 7 different buttons with every keypad button u want.u can even write messages but 7 buttons of gamepad are not enough to full write it

now about the cost:

1)bluetooth gamepad costed me around 75 euros
2)sennheizer earphones (much more better quality than n70 default earphones)really rock!
3)default n70 black earphones 25 or 30 euro i dont remember.u can use the white one of n70 but dont like white color with my n70.if u can see i cut black earphones and made it as adaptor for sennheizer earphones!its not clearly seen on pic.

a real n70 ngage station..... :)

tonight I'm going to share with You my latest discovery.

with those libs I can run many n-gage games like pathway to glory, milehigh pinball, roots, requiem of hell and few others WITHOUT typical problems inc. gallery/mp3 player crash, phone hang, etc.

You still need color fix for some games though.


if this version was posted before (didn't spot that), then I'll remove it. Just let me know... ;)

Does roots really work on N70 WITHOUT the wl_patch (and with those libs) ? I'll give it a try :)

uh huh... but the only known issue is that you have to use some kind of trick to start the game:

1. install all in one n70 patch
2. run roots
3. choose - start/create new character/choose character/give him (her) name
4. then new game/single player
5. at this point you have to press back till you see character list
6. choose your character/play/NEW GAME (!!)
7. you will have list of scenarios - press accept and start
8. enjoy ;)

after this operation You can normally load save game, the only thing I forgot to mention is that You have to kill game's task with i.e. fexplorer or alternativelly you can restart Your phone.

btw: I'm using roots in sis format w/o any additional fixes.

really don't want to be offensive, but you should use search, rather than ask stupid questions. you just need to install those on your mmc and this bundle is just all in one os8 w/o libs cousing n70 to hang/crash. these libs are taken from n-gage, and games need them to work. they are part of it's system.... clear enough??

and do you really think that I would post it risking my reputation without checking it on meself? with viruses??

Atari vol.2 work on N70 but bad colour. Just install colour fix by sobol. Open AVol2, immediatly press menu button, open colour fix on. Then press and hold menu button, select Atari vol.2, and game will have perpect colour.

2)then you need to have the "all in one os8" libs pack and fileexplorer
3)when you have those :

a)install the libs pack to your mmc
b)install one to your mmc

4)turn bluetooth on
5)open fileexplorer
6)go to the one directory in E:/System/Apps/6R58
7)launch 6R58.app

Because after launching 6R58, the game start with bad colors.

"Request your N-Gage games in SiS format here!!" -its on page 7
then install the sis file to mmc
install the all in one os8 libs pack
restart phone
turn bluetooth on
open file explorer
open the games 6R58 directory
open the 6R58.app

I have a problem:

I installed Tiger Woods 04 by sis and Pandemonium by biz

Unfortunately when i went to delete the games i found that many lib files were left. I managed to remove the unused libs from the C:/ and E:/ drives which solved some problems.

But i still have some of the dangerous libs (stated on page 4 of this thread) such as Ecom.dll and Ecomserver.exe on my Z:/ drive. I am sure that these are conflicting with certain apps on my phone (they just go back to menu without loading). But i cant delete them using any file manager because they are read only!

How can i delete libs from the Z:/ drive??

Some games are not compatable with the N70, such as tomb raider, there is no current release that will work so you can only wait. There is no other way around it im afraid!

Was trying out PTG Ikusa Islands (Psygage) on my N70. It worked fine, but only with the libs files that came with it. If I overwrite them with other libs files needed to run other games (X-Men2, FIFA 2005, SonicN & High Seize), it doesnt werk anymore.

Plus, de moment I run PTG Ikusa Islands, my video camera function stops werking. After a few nites of trial and error, I figure out its one of de original libs files dat came with PTG dats causing the camera to stop functioning.

Any help guys? Pls? :(

I have a question regarding the libs which can make ur n70 unstable..... i have deleted the ones from my e:\system\libs folder but i have a whole stack more of libs on my Z:\system\libs, including every single lib on the blacklist. Should I be deleting these lib files from z drive?

No. Its better not to touch de Z drive. I doubt if u can delete it also... I think its de memory drive to run de fone itself.

Yes. Very true indeed. I've been installing some apps in my phone memory( internal memory) and it seems that my N70's response has gotten a tad slower than normal.

Hmm... well.... i have most of my apps in my memory card. But occasionally i put some in the phone memory. The file explorer for example. I have quite a bunch of themes too. I keep all my themes in my phone memory. Its not too bad actually. My N70 doesnt really lag badly. Occasionally it does. I also found out that certain themes i use can affect the response of my N70. The really nice themes with really cool icons and stuff in particular. A price to pay for luxury i guess.

My N70 comes wif its own built in screensaver... Which i find soooo uninteresting... (unless Singtel pays me to advertise their name on my fone...) From de aforementioned website... I managed to changed my screensaver (to one of my own) and also my musicplayer skin (which is redundant, since im using UltraMP3 wif my own custom skins for it...). Its worth every N70 user to check it out!

Hi everyone, jz to clear all the confusion for n70 users, all u hav to do is install asphalt urban gt2 binda, get multifix and get Asphalt[1].UrbanGT2.Symbian8.FS.Patch.(provided). After u installed these, turn on bluetooth, access the game through fexplorer by opening the 6rbc.app file. Thats it, no need other fixes like colour fix. Hope it works for u people!:supz:

reading and reading this endless thread, i tryed already so much, i would say everything...but i cant get THPS workin'...

i have both of the libs (bigint and cryptalg) in the libs folder...i have all the problematic libs in my tonyhawk folder....but i run tonyhawk (its the same, if from the menu, or with fexplorer from the folder), it deformates a little bit the screen but nothing more happens...i try to switch to it with multitasking, i try it quick, slow...but it has no sense...thas the first problem...

the second problem is much more worse...
WHEN I START MY PHONE, IT STUCK ON THE NOKIA LOGO SCREEN!!!!!i need to push ozut my MMC, to get my phone booted!!!i really hate to push it every reboot out!!!i have none of the problematic libs in my libs folder! how you can access your Z:// and deleting the file! (btw you need that file in your Z://) its not n-gage file {check the size and c32 or anythinges else to make sure)

you will have to format your phone to fix it (wich will delete everythinges in your phone)

fL1p first delete alll the prob files from your game folder (its useless!)
and the big imported thinge , rename your libs or Libs or anythinges to LIBS (its will work without any problem)
now you can start your game and enjoy playing it , but wait go to E://Sys.../Prog../ delete files like AIR*....exe and others thats make problems
and restart your phone ,if you still have problem with it , try to get antivirus and make scan
and tell me whats u get :)

there are few games thats need libs wich you should have it , others maybe if you got dll file thats the game dont need it , its wont work and there are differnt libs (WITH THE SAME NAME!) wich i realy think its make problem in few games (like the ROOT)

if you need to edite them you will have to learn the arm assembly (wich is differnt from intel or amd)

after you learned about arm , you will need to have debugger/disassembler for arm , wich is in this case would be (ida pro)
and you will need hex program to edite your apps

Because the 1 time the game opened for me, i went to the mode (single mode or lil tournament cant remember..) and it started loading then CRASHED!

and the game cant be open' i see only little party in top and it stay stuck, more thing problematic, the phone cant turn on with the memory card ! and if i turn it without the card its ok' but after i turn it and then im invert the card the phone cant to spote it..

For those who want to play The Sims Bustin Out but find removing and inserting the MMC card a chore. There another method.

What i do is, i save a App installation file in my MMC and whenever i want to play SIM, i just do an install OR uninstall for that App.

Right after you do an install or uninstall, run game, u get only sound, then press menu button for multitasking and chose phone application, then press again menu button and SIMs application. Now u have SIMs with sound and picture!

Regarding the app. I just use 1 that is small in size and quick for install and uninstall.

but the problem is the opera !! the proglam cant be open !!

u will do this:

turn on bluetooth,
install ColorFix_by_Sobol_(On-Off) and game to mobile
start game
then press menu button to return to phone app
start colorfix on (game is still open on background)
then find game icon on menu and open (dont press menu button again to resume game from there).

i downloaded tombraider in an sis format off this site.but when i install it and run the game it doesn't move from the game's main menu,what i mean is that the game starts normally but when i try to load the first level it won't load and after a if i press the keys i can hear the sound of the game playing but i can't see anything please help me solve problem.

Please tell me exactly what files I need to download to run Splinter Cell Chaos Theory on N70 (Music Edition). Please give the necessary links to download those files. Also, please give the instructions about installing and running the game.

for the messed up colors when you exit the game i found a easy fix just bind color fix off to any of the customizable keys so when you exit the game and see the messed up colors, you press the red button to go main screen, then just push color fix off button, screen blinks but nothin happens then just press red button again and there fixed colors :p, or with the messed up colors just start any game and then push red button to exit game, that fixes back to normal colors but i prefer the first way.

to make chaos theory work DONT use the sis version it just installs all libs where they shouldnt go :p get the other one around here with its system folder.

Do it:
1. Install colorfix by sobol.sis.
2. Go to the Multimedia key settings (push the multimedia key for a few sec).
3. Then in the list you'll see 2 "colorfix". The upper on is the "OFF" and below that is the "ON".
4. Set the ON to the multimedia key.
5. Start the game, wait until it's get into the game's main menu then press the multimedia key 1 time then the colorfix will start after a few sec (if it doesn't start then push until it starts).
6. Enjoy!

I finally made to run Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Asphalt 2, Fifa Soccer 2005 etc. on my N70. But, I am not being able to play Bluetooth multiplayer, for any of them. Whenever I select "Join Game" or "Host Game", the game exits. In case of SCCT it gives the error message : "Out of Memory!". For the other games, no error message is shown. Please help me regarding this problem.

By the way, when I am running the N-Gage games, theme is set to default, only application running except the game is colorfix(that even for those which require color to be fixed) and active standby is turned off. I switch on the Bluetooth for the games which need it.

how i can install the games with a lot of parts? i used winrar and i was trying to paste all the parts in one but no results..... how i can do that?..... or i just try intalling the parts one by one in the cell phone?

for all n70 users yesterday i managed to play pandemoniun on my n70!!!!!!!!!!download the Pandemonium os7_os8.rar from here and then play it just like tomb raider on n70.when in the main screen push new game the you pick up the player you whant after that push ship for the instruction of the game and exactly that time push 2 times the menu button and then again the push button to start the game...at last pandemonium on wonderful n70!!!!

Hi! I played Ghost recon on my n70....but long time ago and I don't remember how. But it is true every game needs complicated way to run. For example Spliner Cell needs immideatly to push menu button but Colin mcrae needs after you see the two screens...By the way try different things. I'm sure you can find the way to run this game on your phone. And one more. Use google and search! I found everything on the net what I needed. Regards.

i install sims bustin' out but it says memory full. why is that? i have a N70 ME with 1g memory...

I agree, Just use multi tasking and FExplorer or X-plorer or some other file explorer and kill task named 'The Roots'

After Glimmeraty and dead bluetooth, I found on net solution and that is Y-browser and file named 10005952.ini delete it and you dont need to factory reset phone, your bluetooth will be working again
With Y-browser delete file:

actually it's not necessary to delete the stuff from the z drive. I don't even think you can, it's a ROM drive, which stands for Read Only Memory... there must be one reason for it to have that name. anyway you can delete that file from drive C which is the phone memory and after reboot bluetooth will work again without problems. Only you will have to reinput phone name and all details.
I think that the process goes somewhat this way: you delete the file from phonememory which is recognized by the phone as a system file which is missing, the phone copies the default file from the ROM to the phone memory and voila.

i'm sick of this.. please help to install Tony Hawk on my N70. i work on this 2 days. i tried everything u wrote on this forum.

i have such files in e:/system/libs:
bigint.dll
cryptalg.dll
ecstb.dll
gamecomms.dll
ngmwext.dll
whichservice.dll and I delated all 'bad' .dlls from this folder and also delated Ecom.dll
from z:/system/libs

I installed TH using blzinstaller and when i open game (both from menu and FExplorer) only sound can be heard.

By the sounds of things, it simply wont work... Somebody might have patches for it to work, so wait and i'm sure somebody will help :D

I don't understand why but I can simply play Tony Hawk on my phone but the way doesn't work for other guys...I use the sis version from Ipmart, I extract it with unmakesis, I copy to the App folder on E: and I use all in one libs for os8. It works perfectly (I start the game from menu, only the icon appears at the top of the screen, then I push menu button long, I choose the phone icon, then I push long the menu icon again and choose Tony Hawk icon and the game runs!). I really hope anybody can use my tutorial but my experience is, something different on the other guys's phones...

2. Select Manual Color Fix from Options
3. Run System Rush
4. Multitask
5. Wait for the screen to have those weird colors
6. Multitask Again then Select System Rush...
7. play!

Note when you exit the game, you still get the bad color bug, run another Symbian application to fix this....

fahimmuchi their not compatible with N70 .

tony hawk runs perfect extracting the app folder from the blz with blz extractor and all in one installed. you open the game from the menu and after you see the icon on the top of the screen you press the red button, then the menu button for multitasking and select tony hawk. It runs without colorfix! tomb doesn't work on n70...
