The Symbian Dater is a free software that can be used on Symbian Series 60 mobile phones (Nokia 3650, Nokia 6600, N-Gage, Siemens SX-1) and can be distributed over Bluetooth from phone to phone, in a viral marketing strategy.

The user select options to create a profile, and once this is completed the program will use Bluetooth to look for other mobile phones with Symbian Dater. When another mobile phone is found, profiles are exchanged and if a match is found the program will notify the owner.

Interesting concept, and certainly an interesting way of meeting people while out.
