ThemeMaker McDebhttp://www.mcdeb.com/tmmcdeb/images/ss-thumb.jpg

When Pocket PC 2002 OS came out, one of the great new features was the ability to use "themes," a packaged set of system colors and today screen background. With the advent of Windows Mobile 2003, Second Edition, themes also had to account for landscape orientation and HiDPI (VGA resolution) screens. In order to get all those elements packaged properly into a Theme package (.TSK file), you need a Theme Generator.

One of the best theme creators in the Pocket PC realm is Debbie McCormick who runs the Pocket McDeb website. After creating a few hundred themes by herself, she took her feature wish list to KAMware, which created a program that did everything she wanted.
ThemeMaker McDeb (by KAMware), now in its fourth version.

WHAT'S HOT
ThemeMaker McDeb is very easy to use. It places everything you need to see on a single screen. It provides program controls both in menus and in control buttons so you can work with the program in the manner most comfortable to you. It can generate Standard, QVGA-, and VGA-resolution themes. It can import background graphics in a wide variety of formats. It can even generate "Thumbnail" and full-sized example screens for displaying themes you create on a web site.

PROGRAM FEATURES
ThemeMaker McDeb runs entirely on your desktop system, so unless otherwise noted, the screens you see are as they would appear on a Windows desktop. ThemeMaker McDeb starts with an all-in-one screen that shows the current theme in Portrait and Landscape previews:

Enjoy!

Thank You so much for this application, I had been looking for it. HOwever, I just installed it on my computer and get two errors and hence the programme doesn't start. The errors are:

Runtime Error 401

and

Error in DoTitleBar

No idea why. Any suggestions? Thanks a ton in advance.

Cheers, Sandeep

sandeep69, seems you have a bug on your PC, as I've just installed it, again, and have no such problems! I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2! :)

Try uninstalling, and install again!

Good luck! :)

This is an awesome killer app, NGager!!
Works great, themes works on windows mobile 5 as well, I will post my first theme on the dedicated thread soon.
I just have a little issue with buttons in the main ThemeMaker window: completely messed up, but the reason should be the awkward resolution of my notebook, 1400*1050.

Hi Engager,

You are correct, something with my computer I think. I installed on another computer and it works perfectly fine.

Thanks a lot, really appreciate it.

Cheers, Sandeep.
