I think he means that it doesn't work without a GPS mouse. Does this app only function with a GPS mouse, or can I use it without one? THe app keeps nagging for a bluetooth connection and keeps on searching for a GPS mouse. I don't have a GPS mouse, so if the app keeps asking for it, I cannot use it...

Why would you use this program with no gps mouse?
Its of no use at all.

Anway , the program doesnt work properly with old route 66 maps , the gps position isnt right.

But new maps can be found now , so thats not a problem anymore.

However tomtom mobile is a 10000000000x better.

I don't drive a car very often. I only use the software to plan my route (travel time, distance, etc.). I don't need to see where I am at a specific (real)time, that's of no use to me. So, the app is very usefull to me. If I needed it more often (for real-time info), I would buy the software anyway cause of the traffic updates. That's is the only good use I find for these kind of apps.

Tomtom certainly isn't better, they just have a more clever marketing team that pushes the product towards us "consumers". The product itself, doesn't have the nice interface Route 66 has, and by interface I mean the cards, not the input interface. The input interface for Tomtom is better, I give you that. But, Tomtom Mobile is developed for people who get lost, just by turning on their smartphone. It's for people who want weatherupdates etc. I don't give much about them. I know how big organizations work and trust me, Tomtom is run by a good organization and that's why they can push this prodcut to their consumers that good. Still, Route 66 proposes us with a better program, with free traffic updates. Also, their interface is much nicer, and their software isn't targeted at people who get lost easy

Too bad, I cannot use the app without a GPS mouse, guess I'm still stuck with Tomtom...

Route66 can't really be used without GPS mouse
well, the iput interface of TomTom is better than that of Route66 and for those that use it in a car it has more options for roadblocks and alternative roads as to Route66 has none

the map coverage and directions of Route66 are way better though

well trat, I'm afraid for your use TomTom might be the better choice

Well i have used both regularly , and no i dont get lost easily :D

And my no1 choice is tomtom , its alot nicer.
And btw , the maps R66 and tomtom uses are both based on the teleatlas maps.

And the biggest thing i love about tomtom is adding your own point of interests.
Like speed cams ;)
You cant even do that with r66.

And besides , route 66 looks like crap compared to tomtom.
That may not be important for some people , but for me it is.
