I have flashed many BB5 phones by MT-Box ( including 6630 ) without problem, but now I have problem with 6630 - after flashing the display of the phone does not light but show Nokia logo and after 20 seconds restarts. I use MT-Box NK and the latest installer and also have problem with flashing 6230i with some kind of error when start erasing.

try to chage version

the way i see it, there are 2 posibilities
1. u cannot downgrade bb5 phones .if u did that, u need 2 write the last version the phone used or a superior one,and it will work
2. u can try to manually format it
press togheter * 3 green button and power on , and hold them until it starts

do 1 thing download the latest version from the side and flash 1 again .that problem will solve

Flash with last version of 6630 firwware your problem will solve

i have also faced the same problem and tried flashing the latest versions available but the problem was not solved. Guess the imei gor corrupted

hello with all my respects for all suggestions .....
no one thnk about that the f-bus cable may have a lose in one pin or more
so it can erase old flash but cannot complete flashin corrctelly
so he must try to clean the pin attachment and ensure that it is ok
agter that flash with any verion ... and i hope u will get golden results

You should flashing the latest version (try version mcus w6.05308)
