im not really sure if this has been posted before, but if it does, im very very sorry..i made this thread because i have seen a lot of people having this problem when installing fonts for their cellphone. so here is a detailed instruction on how to do it..

to those experiencing problems in installing your fonts (ie., 6670 & 7610 V4.0437.4ch, 6630, 6680 etc..) or that the only fonts that did change is in FExplorer and the time etc..then heres how to do it!

first you need to have FExplorer and Fontremover installed..
Open Fontremover..At 1st it will say that "Font file not found". it is okay because there is no font found in the C:\System folder by default.
Then open FExplorer then go to Z:\System\Fonts. in there you will see 5 files:
Browsereur.gdr
CalcEur.gdr
Ceurope.gdr
11x12_latin.gdr
15x16_latin.gdr
Of the 5 files,11x12_latin.gdr and 15x16_latin.gdr are the fonts being used by the phone.
What you need to do is that after you have sent or installed the font into a folder (ie E:\System\Fonts), go to C:\System, Options>Make Dir.. Name the folder "Fonts".. after that go back to where you put your fonts (E:\System\Fonts) then copy your desired font then paste it into the C:\System\Fonts folder. Then Options>Rename it to 11x12_latin.gdr. then go back to E:\System\Fonts, copy the same font and paste it back again in C:\System\Fonts, then rename it into15x16_latin.gdr then reboot your phone.

it worked for my 6670 V4.0437.4ch, and my friend's 7610 of the same version.the fonts are a little smaller as compared with the other method but i think its much better than the default font.. be warned though that you shouldn't try to paste and rename the other 3 fonts (Browsereur.gdr, CalcEur.gdr and Ceurope.gdr). because your phone wont be able to reboot properly and you'll be stuck with the Nokia Logo until you reformat it.

(Thanks goes to a member of another forum who discovered this, i forget his name though..Kudos to you man!!!)

tried but still cant.
however, i have discover that i can change some of the font done by some creator..... and i think other forum have label it as " Language pack" different. Have anyone here thought about that?
I think because of that, it hinder the changing of fonts.......... especially those phone that can enable chinese characters.........

Please quote me if I am wrong and hopefully this information is useful to anyone that need it...

Hey, not sure if you worked it out or not but the fonts directory does not exist on the n70, if you create it using FE Explorer and stick a .gdr font in that directory the font will change after a reboot, at least it did on mine. :)
