SmartComGPS is a GPS mapping/tracking/navigation software for Symbian smartphones. It is compatible with external BT GPS receivers. SmartComGPS can run without GPS receiver, as "mapping" software with namesearch ability, and on the contrary, without maps, as "GPS tracking" software. But, if you have maps and GPS receiver - you can use all advanced SmartComGPS features.

please can any body tellme why on my motorola A1000 dont work this program .
When I start this program showme " error conecting to server"
the question its;
1- did I need to get internet conection to work with this program?
2 or I need to install any map to work with this program

My friend your motorola a1000 is an symbian UIQ smartphone not s60...!
You will need to find the application for symbian UIQ look for what you need on [Only registered and activated users can see links] where is the official site.

there are no smartcomgps u have to convert a jpg or bmp map with a software available on wild mobile site. Than u have to calibrate it.
I think there is 1.5 version isnt it?

this v1.02 is very sloppy. Better try 1.0 for the moment.

cannot make it work on my 6630, it doesn't detect my holux gps :-(

seems like version 1.0 will be on my side for a little longer :-)
