Hello Everybody!!!

Ive just converted just right now my P800 into an Infrared or X-Ray Cam!!!
Here are the pics ive taken using only a TV remote as a flashlight!!!
NOTE : The room has a Flourescent light but it seems dark.

S.Mod edit: as you can see this hole thing is a hoax, x-ray camera phones do not exist and they are not possible to make. (see my post below for more info). all that was done here is putting a pice of film behind the camera to change the colour of the pics.

FROM NOW ON ALL TOPICS THAT INCLUDE DISCUSSION ABOUT X-RAY OR INFRARED MODIFICATIONS ON PHONE CAMS WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT WARNING. THAT CRAP IS JUST WASTING FORUM SPACE. ANYONE WHO HAS A MINIMAL NOTION OF WHAT AN X-RAY IS, KNOWS THAT ITS IMPOSSIBLE.

as such this topic will be the last of its kind in this forum to serve as example for others.

Now to share my knowledge to all of you!!!

After reviewing Infrared Photography on the net ive decided to make my P800 into an Infrared (X-Ray) Cam!!!

This is how ive done it.

1) open the back cover of your P800

2) Locate the P800 Camera and remove the lock by sliding it to the left.

3) The whole camera is inserted in the camera slot! (its just like a processor in a motherboard) Remove it from the slot.

4) Carefully remove the Camera Filter if you want to return the camera to its original function. its very hard to remove this filter my was Broken(Tough Job)

5) look at some of your photo negatives and look for an empty blackish negative. some dark part of a photo negative is not enough! you must look for a black one it can be found on the beggining of the photo negative.

6) cut two small pieces that you will use as a Camera filter.

7) after fitting the newly created filter in the camera block. put all of parts together and test ur newly created Infrared (X-Ray) cam!!!!!

Other mobiles may be differ but just follow this simple tutorial as a guide!

the screen of your camera will turn into black & white but it will work as stated.

now im looking for a better filter to use and im going to create an ir flashlight to use when shooting in total darkness! the camera will also function as night vision camera using ir leds as a lightsource!

if you have remove the original Camera filter without damaging it you can use it to return the Camera to normal!!!

thanx a lot for the tutorial man...but one thing, does it actually let you 'see-thru' stuff...like say could you actually see through a filled bottle of coke??

yes i tried it in a coke bottle in a tv remote even the photo negative i used to hold in my hand seems to magically disappear to and some logo's on clothing and paper money!

one is not enough coz it could not block the other light source so it will look too bright in sunlight. im even going to try adding more negatives and test it. by the way a tv remote when pressed in the dark using this converted cam it will look like a small flashlight. :D

this forum has already help me alot with almost everythng that i need for my mobile phone im just sharing what i can share for the good of our mate's here. :D other people are making money out of this stuff but its not that hard to do so why spend lots of money if we can just do it ourselves.

that is not an x-ray cam. it just has a filter in it that turns the colour of the camera like that sort of purple colour.
if it truly was an x-ray cam in that pic of you that you posted you should only see your bones. you can´t make an x-ray cam with a phones cam.

X-RAY BEEMS ARE RADIOACTIVE AND CAN HARM HUMANS IF NOT DEALT WITH CAREFULLY. THATS WHY X-RAYS ARE MANIPULATED BY BIG MACHINES IN MEDICAL CENTERS. HOW CAN YOU EXPECT TO MANIPILATE X-RAYS USING A PHONE CAM?

and that is not an infrared cam either. have you ever saw an infrared pic before?

infrared beems able you to see body heat that a human body (or any other heat body) liberates. the heat appears like red and green light in the bodys.

convince yourselfs that this is not possible. you have no idea of what x-ray and infrared means. i´m my opinion you just spoiled your camera but if you are happy with it then congratulations. :)
don´t think i am making fun of you. i just want to alert other people not to do this crazy stunt that can damage their cameras. this is the most useless modification on a phone i have ever seen and if you relly think you have turned your phone into an x-ray then you are either stupid or you are trying to cheat us.

i am very curious of what is your opinion about this so plz make your coment so that i can lock this topic and close this rubbish discussion about x-rays once and for all.

yes i know it isnt really an (X-Ray) cam i just put the word (X-Ray) in it coz people called it that way! its just a guide to people who wants to have it but i wrote a caution to it.

- filled coke bottle
- filled ink pot
- paper money

either way on all posts that you made you clearly stated you turned your phone into an x-ray cam or infrared. many people can be drawn to this topic and think you really worked this out when you didn´t. you just putted a pice of film on the back of the camera. anyone can do that if thy know how to dissasemble their mobile.
this topic will now be locked but it will stay here as an example for others who wish to restart this crap about x-ray. from now on this x-ray rubbish is banned from this forum.
