Thanks in advance. Parallax 30th January 2006, 02:25 No there isnt any sound. Not sure about changing the speed of the emulation though, its been a while since i had it on my phone. nokkia 30th January 2006, 12:18 but why it has no sound? vdoy has sound.. maybe there is another better emulator for snes roms? keropi 30th January 2006, 13:01 there is no other SNES emu out there... consider this as a technology preview, like theis GBA emulator... snes needs more cpu power to be emulated, ~400mhz cpu... nokkia 30th January 2006, 15:00 wow!! 400mhz cpu? that sounds crazy.. wl 30th January 2006, 15:11 PDA HP hx4700 - 627mhz... Parallax 31st January 2006, 07:06 There is another Vampent Vsun emulator that you can play with sound, but the graphics and sound suffers due to not enough CPU power to make everything run well. The gameplay is kinda coppy too, kinda like trying to run a game that your pc cant handle. The difference between the vampent Vsun emulator and the vampent Vsun plus emulator is smoother gameplay, improved compatibility and improved graphics. There was only a 30% improvement, but there is much more improvement to be made so dont expect it to run as well as the real thing. nokkia 2nd February 2006, 15:30 yes, i agree with you.. vsun plus has better graphics and it's faster but it hasn't got sound. nokkia 3rd February 2006, 01:09 i tried to play the snes rom " Super mario world 2 : Yoshi's Island " but i didn't manage it... why? is one of the best snes games! :( Parallax 3rd February 2006, 01:29 i tried to play the snes rom " Super mario world 2 : Yoshi's Island " but i didn't manage it... why? is one of the best snes games! :( Game compatibility is still an issue with the emulator. It is far from being perfected yet, so only some games will run but not all. Also, some games required addtional hardware/software that was built in the SNES cartridge itself (eg: Starfox, Doom etc) and there is no way to emulate that on a phone currently. Wonkothesane 3rd February 2006, 14:50 there is no other SNES emu out there... consider this as a technology preview, like theis GBA emulator... snes needs more cpu power to be emulated, ~400mhz cpu... I disagree, my psp (233 mhz) can fully emulate snes (most games, some need a bit of overclocking - 266 or 300) this is with sound, 0 frameskip (most games) and everything. IMHO, the snes should be able to be emulated fully on modern cellphones too... alexyip 27th March 2006, 14:57 so, what's the best emu for SNES currently? I want One, Purchase it if worthed. Too bad VSUN Plus has no sound :(( |
