oh u right, i totally forget about this: Don't press Left SoftKey while phaying Asphalt 2. This reboot ur device.
First u need to do - goto to Options menu and change controls.

YES that`s 100% correct with Asphalt Gt2 on 6630(v 3.45) but doesnt work with Glimmerati for example which works but with messed colours even when using catan colour trick.

NOKIAFC.DLL is the center of attraction for crackers, you'll only see this visible on BinPDA versions (main.dll), you'll see different on other versions (****.app for other versions). If you have a hex editor application, you'll understand what i mean. XD

don't u forget to compress memory after restart? U need at least 8.0mb free. Rifts for sure works on 6630.
But some ppl reports about lags while playing, which disappear after 2-3 turn on/off phone

Hmm... mile high doesnt work for me. Nothing happens when I click on the icon.

Ok i finally got Glimmerati working on my 6680.

It seems that i have to start up glimmerati (without starting color-fix). Then when it loads i push the red button to get out of the game. Then i start the Color-fix OFF, hold down menu-button and selecet the running glimmerati.
This solved my problem.

As for Asphalt 2 you need to just start up the game, push red button, start the Color-fix ON and then return to the game.

You can make it work, just follow the steps: (mine is PWNPDA version w/ wl's patch, if you have the BinPDA version, which i don't, ignore this post!) tested on my 6681.

1. Create a new character
2. Select New game and select single player
3. Press back 3 times (now you're on the character select screen)
4. Choose your character & press play
5. select New game
6. Choose the level
7. Select Single player & Enjoy!

Alternate way:
1. Create a new character
2. Select new game & select multiplayer game, then a message wil appear: "Roots: feature not supported" then it shows "awaiting clents...." press back
3. Choose the character you've created & press play
4. Select New game
5. Choose the level
6. Select Single player & Enjoy!

The patch has many bugs though, you cant even exit the game.
To exit just press the red button then open appman then kill the application :)

NOTE: This has nothing to do w/ NOKIAFC.DLL.

You're welcome... i think you should try to update the files in your system/libs folder, maybe one of the files are outdated that prevented the game from working :)

what games worked on n90? i see many new of them running on n90 and should work on n70 too because both are 8.1 but they dont!plz refer to full game name and only rifts or asphalt gt2.plz rcopy paste exact filename because we may have different cracks

Your problem is caused from libreries lacking in e:\system\libs

GAMECOMMS.DLL - GAMEUTILS.DLL - NOKIAFC.DLL are essential.

ETHANIEL I bet that your problem is just bluetooth OFF. Turn that on or make your phone "visible" if hidden. You'll solve Glimmerati prob.... hope this help, see you on irc :)

Asphalt 2 doesn't worth the effort to put it on ur phone because it slows it down with all the patches and fixes and there isn't any major difference between 1 and 2. It would be worth installing it when there will be a sis version in it included all the fixes and u don't have to start any patch or anything just like they made asphalt 1 for 6630.

I think asphalt 1 and 2 are excellent. I have an Ngage too, and play them both all the time (well, I play 1 on my N90 and 2 on my Ngage). My little nephew has a QD and plays Asphalt 2 ALL the time, its his favorite game.

They are SOO worth it. :D

but when exiting the game..the colour will mess up..i need to apply colour fix off..

Hi.. everyone......Did anybody who has a 6630 got this problem after running Glimmerati ??

The problem is after Glimmerati has been run, my phone is not able to search out any other bluetooth device (it shows "no bt device found" eventhough there suppose to be one) , only the other bt device can found my phone. I tried to take off the mmc card and restart my phone many times.. but only a *#7780# soft reset can solve this problem and put my bluetooth back to normal... However, if i run Glimmerati again after the reset.. bluetooth will become malfunction again....
so... is there any expert buddy out there know wats going on..? i don't want to soft reset it everytime i finished playing Glimmerati...THANKS !!!

I think its because you installed tankermania on your phone, it conflicts with colorfix's Off icon, dunno why :)

Strange, strange problem. I would like to say what to happen...

I got both Glimmerati and One installed... Glimmerati will cause this Bluetooth problem... but not sure about One... i will try it out later

in the meantime... what i do is to soft reset without formatting my phone...then do a backup to mmc right after reset. By the time when the bluetooth is not working, i will just restore my backup from the mmc...
but i know..still.. so frustrating...~~~

probably nokiafc.dll is not the cause of the problem if bluetooth still good after running asphalt 2 and MHPinball....

yes, u right, all this thread is just a joke.

I got both Glimmerati and One installed... Glimmerati will cause this Bluetooth problem... but not sure about One... i will try it out later

in the meantime... what i do is to soft reset without formatting my phone...then do a backup to mmc right after reset. By the time when the bluetooth is not working, i will just restore my backup from the mmc...
but i know..still.. so frustrating...~~~

probably nokiafc.dll is not the cause of the problem if bluetooth still good after running asphalt 2 and MHPinball....

Also for me nokiafc.dll it's not the problem... But ???

On 7610 i've installed only THE ONE and there is the same problem with bluetooth! :(

I've the same problem on my 6630 and 7610. My bluetooth now only receive!

PC > PHONE = OK
PHONE > PC = NO
PHONE > PHONE = NO
PHONE > PC + CTRLFREAK = OK
PHONE > GPS Bluetooth = OK




I've tryed to remove libs and games but, just like to you, the problem persists.

Only solution is RESET! :( S**T!

I misunderstood, the meaning "reset" is reset factory settings, right?? I've done that already and my bluetooth works ok now. It's hard to do this all over again sshssssh....

tonyhawk, tombrider, ssx uses Bigint.dll and Crypralg.dll libraries, which disappears from symbian 8, it leaded to binary incompatibility between ngage and 66xx, so... i don't know at this moment, how to patch such games...

Tomb Rider doesn't work on symbian 8 (6630, 668x)...

this topic is only for OS 8.0 phones. there is no trick to make this game work on OS 7.0 phones like 6600 and 7610 so stop requesting for it.

To find a Asphalt 2 use SEARCH button.
Put the libbs into E:\system\libbs\
E is your memory card
Use MMC cards reader to access your MMC card or use DKU cable, open MMC folder and put the system folder from the lobbs into it
System folder is hidden so if you are using MMC reader you have to change windows settings to see it

I'll try to do something about running some games on n70, but...
if it don't work check you free moemory on c: must be 8mb or more and turn on your colour patch after you open the game

Free space on C: and Free RAM - it's different things.

Can anyone please help me to get the colours sorted out on an N90.
This game is so much fun i try to play it with the screwed up colours!
I have tried the different listed ways but no luck...

Asphalt 2 works fine. You said your phone reboots when starting the game.This means that your bluetooth is Off buddy. Switch it ON and try it... Also free up RAM upto atleast 8.5MB

asphalt gt 2 does not run from fexplorer or menu (from menu the colors mess up) I've added the dll in libs folder as well as its own folder, have enough free memory and stuff. Thought it should work well on n70. ANyone who has an idea, thanks!

edit: somehow, it worked, it now opens but gets stuck at N-Gage Nokia screen =/

Second edit: sorry for shitload of edits, I got the gameworking but the colors are messed up even if the Color Fix proggy is used..whats up with that?

I have installed Asphalt gt2 to my 6630 and it's working ok but when try to go options menu it says memory is not enough in spite i compress my memory with appman so i couldn't use that menu and both the multiplayer menu does...

Still the left softkey resets phone , i tried all patches but nothing become helpfull...

Got Everything working on my 6630, its true if you copy everything in the LIBS/DATA/PLUGIN/FRAMEWORK then include it in everygame folder, then you wont have any problems with any of the games mentioned. No conflicts with the phone whatsoever. Just a bigger filesize (Coz i placed the contents of the All in One Patch in every Gamefolder that i installed)

Well if someone could give a rundown of the files needed for each game, then it would be great, we wont need the All in One Patch anymore and just install it individually, libs files included in the games folder.

what's the best way to free up memory on a 6680 without having to completely erase all c memory could only go up to 7.77 on phone memory using profexplorer can't seem to get any ngage games to work tried fixes and everything tried asphault 2 but couldn't get it to work

First, don't use custom skin. Use the default skin. Then use Appman to "Close all apps", and "Compress Memory". Make sur you didn't installed programs that are always active in the background, and you shoulg free space. The max Ive got on my 6670 was 8.7Mo free ram.

i give up. Tried many times to start with 6680 asphault 2 but nothing happened. Downloaded game used lib it came on for less than a second then off again. Tried patch it came on kept switching from bad picture to good picture wouldn't come off ngage screen. Tried with blootooth on 8.6 ram still nothing might as well delete it i'll never get it working how anyone got this working is beyond me

got asphault 2 working on 6680 problem is that when extracting large ngage games in zip it extracts all other files to e/system/apps but leaves out the .dat which is the main part of the game so if you go back in with zipman find a file called .dat that is 19 mb compress this with eokzip and uncompress it into the asphault 2 folder in e/system/apps then use multifix turn on bluetooth have at least 8mb memory and it should start started for me. Does anyone know how to get one started it gets stuck at the loading screen after pressing create character
