danger!!
beware of brontoks virus!!
it came from indonesia..
it ur pc infected, ur pc wont be turn off.. and sometimes suddenly restart.. and a folder will make a folder with the name of it folder, and so on..
brontoks icon is like internet explorer "e" and the file name is "about brontoks".. beware okay guyz!! maybe that virus will go around the world!! who knows?!?!

My lab was infected few weeks ago, but I've manage to get rid of them. It's quite a hard work to remove the new version..

sorry i haven't know how to remove this virus.
cus this virus just out maybe this january 2006.
just beware of this virus, i'll let all know if there is the anti virus for brontoks.

ur information is out of date. plz searching in this forum be4 posting, so there'nt double posting.
note: if anyone was infect by brontoks & kangen virus, plz do not use any removal/toolkit just do it with antivirus mcafee/norton av or avast av prof (good AV in this world) but remember 2 update ur virus databases. only that n Brontok/kangen will go away.

Brontok is recognized on last november (2005) and it's spreading widely ever since...
the easiest way.. is to update ur antivirus virus definition... no matter what av app u use... they'll recognize brontok and remove it...
another way is manual... and quite challenging lol...
using a software called Hijack This...
this app will detect the malicious settings on ur windows configuration and registry (specially start ups, and windows explorers settings)
the complete guide can be found with google's help...
confirmed it's coming from Indonesia...

my pc has infected by this virus.that's right that this virus will make their own folder and it's type is applications.i know it when my pc still restart when i shut down.and it also restart on its own.i think it has affect on the applications that i download in this forum.so you must BEWARE!!:mad:
