hi! i have nokia 6630 and i really hate that phone when i want to see my photos cuz it take almost 1 minute to open! and that because i have almost 1000 photos! so i open fileman and trying somethinto that images folder, and here goes the method to open the images from gallery faster!

-open app like fileman or seleQ or blabla
-go to E:\
-make a new folder, and rename it to whatever u want.(in this case i rename the folder into Photos)
-after that, go to E:\images\
-take all the photos[cut] step by step(i mean if there is 1000 photos, take it 100 for the first step) to the "photos" folder
-make a lot of folder inside "photos" folder, for example: January, February, My birthday party, new year or somethin but that's not to important. (BUT! If u want to make it easy for u to see ur photos IN THE FILEMAN, make a lot of catagory folder like my example up there..)
-what i exactly want to say is make a lot of folder in "photos" folder and put the photos inside that folders. but dont put many photos in one folder. So if u have 1000 photos, make minimal 10 folders(100 photos per folder), and INSIDE that new Folder, make 2 new folder and put half of ur photo in the first folder, and the other half in the second folder.
-Do that to all ur photos
-after u finished, try to open the images from the gallery and walaa.. it become faster..

-in my case, after i did that method, i open the images from gallery at about 10 seconds..
-and i haven't try this in OTHER s60 Phones..

It also possible to do that method for VIDEOS, just make a few folders to separate all the videos in the folders.

well this is a basic notion of organizing files. if you put all files in just one folder it will take longer to open because the phone must load all pics. if they are sorted to diferent folders the phone only has to load the folders.
this methode works in making the phone faster in loading but also becomes more dificult in finding the pics you want

there is two ways to find the pics u want after u organize ur photos:

no.1
organize ur photos AGAIN in the IMAGES from the GALLERY..

no.2
open ONLY from the fileman so u don't have to organize ur photo twice!

I did it but it does the reverse,i.e when I create categories it is opening very slow,but if there is no category it opens faster...???I doubt about my mmc card but it isn't,because I changed it,but it was the same.Anyone can help?

thats strange.. cuz that method is workin in my 6630.. sorry then if its not workin..
