hey anybody know kangen virus?? sorry maybe this topic already here..

kangen is a virus that attack Microsoft word files.(.doc)
kangen Icon is same as microsoft word icon.
If u open this virus, all of your Microsoft Word files(.doc) cannot be opened.
and the .doc will turn into .exe!
So beware of this virus, and make sure u turn on the folder options about seeing the extension of a file.

There is an anti virus 4 this virus, i think the name of the anti virus is Norman. but sorry i don't have the link.

the virus is from indonesia i think
cos the languages they usin is like indonesian
its make ur files to .exe (executable)
yah,normally i c this kind of virus on ppl's mmc when they ask me to tune their mmc
so first things first is we hav to scan the mmc first b4 opening it
usually i used avast antivirus to scan..but ya'll can use norton,avg etc. etc. to scan also
it work very well
the virus can spread through diskets too

the conclusion is SCAN ur removable disk first

note: if anyone was infect by kangen virus, plz do not use any removal/toolkit just do it with antivirus mcafee/norton av or avast av prof (good AV in this world) but remember 2 update ur virus databases. only that n kangen will go away.
