here are my fonts,, :lol:

[b]just put the font in C:\system\fonts
if u haven't got the fonts folder, just make it right away with file manager like fileman, fexplorer or seleq..

To remove ur font to nokia original font, here is how:
1)open file manager, go to C:\system\
2)rename the "fonts" folder into anything else ex:"fontsw"
3)then remove ur fonts inside that folder, or just cut that font and put in other place..
4)done..
5)restart ur phone..

To change ur font into another font,
do exactly from step 1-3, and then
-put the other font u wanna change into "fontsw" folder,
-then rename the "fontsw" folder back into "fonts" folder..
-restart ur phone

it's not just 1 font for the phone, but there is a combination between fonts so i use more than 1 font to make this gdr files.. screenshot later laahh..

@Genkuro, just use file explorer like fileman, and open C:\system\ and then make a new folder "fonts" and put the font in there.. put only one font..

But, if u wanna change ur font with the other font,, easy.. just open filemanager like fileman or SeleQ, and then Rename the fonts folder into anything else ex:"fontsz" and then put off the font inside that folder, and then put the new font u wanna change into that fontz folder.. finally, rename the "fontz" folder to "fontz" again..

@Toaster, i dont know about N90,, i think somebody has a topic about font in N90.. try to search..

@benjiro_isozaki I did as you instructed and made a fonts folder in C:\system\ and stored only one font file in the folder. Nothing happened even if I have already re-started my phone. Am I missing something?

Please Benjiro. How to remove fonts ?

To remove ur font to nokia original font, here is how:

Benjiro. My phone is nokia 6680. I rename folder and try to delete, it dosent work, it says : program is in use cant delete. Then i found the program zfontremower, and it works.
after I renamed font folder i restarted 6680phone. That's only when you can change font or delete it. hope this helps.

sorry i just can make english fonts.. i mean alphabetic fonts.. so,, i dont know how to make it, BUT maybe u can find the font with greek character and give it to me, and i'll make the font for you.. but! i've never try to make any font except alphabet, so its up to you whether u take the risk by changing ur font into greek char, because there is a risk ur phone will crash..

oh yeah, that's a great theme, i got it from my friend,, i'll post it soon okay?? just wait,, BUT! i dont have the .sis file, so i hope u can cut the files to skins folder.. the folder name is just the same as the .ini file name..

yes u can put more than one font in that folder, but the font that is in use, cannot be move..

but u better put the other fonts somewhere else,, so if u wanna change the font, just rename the fonts folder, put the font that is in use to somewhere else, and then put ur new font to the fonts folder and rename the folder again to "fonts" and restart ur phone.. please read page one.. i have explained all..

well I create new folder name " fonts" in C: system and put the fonts named cosmic inside this folder , then restart the phone and when I turn on the phone , the fonts are the same not change...
please can you helpme and tellme what I need to do more ?

I've been adding my new fonts to my 6670 onto the C:/ and haven't used FontRemover.sis

Will anything happen to my phone? I mean the phone still works fine, no issues. However the fonts have been working no problem. I thing I've changed them about 5-7 times.

If until now ur phone is still okay,, so no problem than! its up to you to change the font using fontremover or my method in page 1! thanx!

hey bro! know what?, tried out yr garamondbold.gdr font and it made my 6670 more readable now. ha,ha,ha... Only prob is the default screensaver that showing time/date now looks smaller, but guess can live with that.

this is what i did on my 6670
-with FExpl go to c:\system\fonts
-rename folder "fonts" into "fonts2"
-delete folder "fonts2"
-exit FExpl n reboot
-restart and phone show original/default font again

GUADALUPE IT'S VERY SIMPLE for N3230
Using FExplorer or SeleQ

1. Go to your c:
2. Go to c:/system/fonts

4. Open Your RENAMED Fonts Folder.
5. Delete the Font you want removed.
6. RESTART your phone

Your phone will revert to the original font file stored in your Z Drive.
This are protected so you cannot delete them.

Now if you want to change your Phone's Font again follow the instructions below:

1. SEND via Bluetooth or cable the font you want to use (*.gdr format)
2. LOOK for the font in c:/system/mail
3. COPY the new font
4. PASTE the font to your c:/system/[RENAMED Font Folder]
5. OPEN your [RENAMED Font Folder] and RENAME the font to 11x12_latin.gdr
6. REPEAT steps 2 to 5 but this time RENAME this newly pasted font to 15x16_latin.gdr
7. This folder should now contain 2 Files
11x12_latin.gdr and 15x16_latin.gdr
8. RENAME your [RENAMED Font Folder] to FONTS
9. RESTART YOUR PHONE

This time your newly installed Font will take effect.
Unlike Nokia 6600, Nokia 3230 will only read the two files
11x12_latin.gdr and 15x16_latin.gdr

You can't rename the fonts folder if it's in use on certain phones i.e. 6600, the only way for you to restore to default font is by using font remover.

The process in changing fonts for your phone model is the same as that of the Nokia 3230....

this works only partially correct..you see..i created 2 separate font types..but the thing is it only reads the 11X12_latin.gdr..but if i create only a 15X16_latin .gdr the menu fonts remains the same as the default..but if i create both 11X12_latain and 15X16_latin the entire phone's fonts looks the same as it reads only off the 11X12_latin.gdr file...so any one care to help??cheers!!

you need the program Font Remover, this program erase the entire folder named " Fonts" when the program ask " reboot now" dont reebot until you created again the folder "Fonts" in the Drive C:/System/ and past inthere the new font that you want to use or simple reboot your phone and if your original fonts what came with your device its on the drive "Z" you dont need to created again the folder in "C" your phone use your original fonts when rebooted...

Did anyone ever work out why these fonts will not work on N70? They all show up the same, the font file is being used because it cannot be deleted, it just wont show. :(

here.. i have turkish font,, i have two version..
the first one i made it with ASCII/Unicode, so the result is like that.(turkish.jpg)the upper one

the second one i made it with Symbols/Unicode that i have never use use it before.. and it look like this..(turkish2.jpg)the bottom one

remember, its up to you, you can take the risk to use the font.. but if u dare to try it, u better try the turkish.gdr first, if there is still no turkish character, then try the turkish2.gdr

then tell me what happen.. thanks..

@benjiro - well here's my problem... im using n70 v5 i tried tro install font remover and then i tried to do the same processes in changing the fonts just like 7610 (my former phone) and when i restart nothing happend

now when i read in some threads is says i need to rename the font to 11x12_latin.gdr and 15x16_latin.gdr.. and so i did... and after restart the font gets screwed up... its all sqaures...

just put the font in C:\system\fonts
if u haven't got the fonts folder, just make it right away with file manager like fileman, fexplorer or seleq..

To remove ur font to nokia original font, here is how:
1)open file manager, go to C:\system\
2)rename the "fonts" folder into anything else ex:"fontsw"
3)then remove ur fonts inside that folder, or just cut that font and put in other place..

5)restart ur phone..

To change ur font into another font,
do exactly from step 1-3, and then
-put the other font u wanna change into "fontsw" folder,
-then rename the "fontsw" folder back into "fonts" folder..
-restart ur phone :ilove:

i am havin terible problems... th font i have installed in my nokia 3230 has no number..... so i cant type number when i type numbers it gives space.. i want the orignal font back..... i have installed font remover but it is not working.. it says font removed but it doesnt change..... i have tried changing names of font folder and tryed delet font file in c: as well... nothing working.. can i reset my phone? or any other way to get back to orignal font?

plz help

i am fed up with this new font its not readable...... and i cant type messages....

Mate.Do a hard format.Tellingyou the how-to

Turn on your phone by pressing *,green(call accept),3 buttons

Your phone will start as hard-formatted with all the rom and the C: drive returned to its original state and this should work

If this does not work-this is possible only 1%- get your phone flashed by a service it WİLL surely wokr.

Try the hard reset and if I could be of help dont forget my reputation.

here.. i have turkish font,, i have two version..
the first one i made it with ASCII/Unicode, so the result is like that.(turkish.jpg)the upper one

the second one i made it with Symbols/Unicode that i have never use use it before.. and it look like this..(turkish2.jpg)the bottom one

remember, its up to you, you can take the risk to use the font.. but if u dare to try it, u better try the turkish.gdr first, if there is still no turkish character, then try the turkish2.gdr

then tell me what happen.. thanks..

Guys,

I am using nokia 3230 and I am in hell position now….. I installed a font from this thread and it has became pain for me. It is not changing only and the worse thing is it has no numbers included. So now there are no numbers on my phone. Calendar is pure blank and I cant type numbers( it take it as a space. ) plus the font is not readable so I cant type message also.. I tried everything but nothing works

I installed fontremover but tried 20 times .. font is still there.
I tried changing name of folder / font and all other things as per your direction but nothing works
Plus I reset my phone with nokia password 12345….. still the font not changing…… now I am frustrated and my phone has became practically useless….

The font name is ABSCI.GDR or benazio_mix.gdr or forgotty.gdr

I really don’t know what to do now… please help if you can solve my problem…. have a look at my calender

hmm.. yeah i know that some fonts may not be perfectly well in our phone.. for you,, so, u cant change the fonts folder?? i dont know whats going on cuz in my friend 3230 i have tried it to rename the fonts folder with fileman and its working.. then i delete the fonts folder.. hmm,, maybe u better try to make the fonts folder "HIDDEN", then restart ur phone,, if the font still not changing,, then i dont know what to do.. i'm really sorry..

one more, only put one font in fonts folder ok..

ASCII version and Symbols Version.. Which One IS Working?? Is it both of them Working?? Or Which One iS BeTTeR??

None of them work properly.There r no "ş,ı,ğ,ü,ö" characters...

On pc they do have those characters.But on the phone it is benjiro's duty to make them work.

I will make a working one but it will be a bit different than normal fonts.But it will be Turkish.

BTW CYBERAY If u want to return to original font,what do you do?A format or deleting font??
