Man plz help me. Im having a strange problem.

My cell cant detect .TXT .DOC sometimes .MID files.

In file manager there r some ringtone .mid file shows "?" & those ringtone cannot play & shows a massage "FILE MANAGER FILE NOT SUPPORTED"

Something kills my file everyday. Those file i can see in the file manager but i can open.

I m using N6260 & my friend use N6681.

We both having the same problem. From yesterday.

We have these common software

1. Moving theme "xpfuture2" downloaded from this forum (this theme also install some strange program & Phone Theme config app)

2. Font Remover

3.A custom font made by me i.e Times New Roman.

these r the softwares that we installed yesterday

i think moving theme is the main culprit

this only format your phone wont format your mmc, so backup phone data with pc suite;)

man this problem dosent solve with hard & soft formatting.

& whenever i insert a mid ringtone 2 my cell (6260) then in the msg box it shows the file as usual but it cant play/open the ringtone. It just gives a msg

i tried to copy that file with FExplorer but it shows not like a media icon rather that it shows a file contains (?)

i m having this problem after installing moving theme (found on this forum). So plz dont install it. Its harmful for ur cell.

from the way i see it, u should flash your fone... why, coz your system doesn,t recognize their system anymore... how can, it is all bcause of file recognizer on the fone got screwed up... now, backup all your data with PCSuite, don,t u backup with utility from MMCtools in the fone coz it sometimes restore the system as the 1st time before u format your phone... flash it, or hard format it, then restore ur pb from pcsuite... BR...
Oops,btw, i have no problem at all using animated themes, it is not crashing my fone...

format the mmc. the animated themes install something that makes the animation, but that thing also steals some file association, making some .mid , .txt and .doc files unusable.

edit: u can also fix it by:
1) Delete the file E:\system\recogs\PTBoot.mdl
2) Delete any folder in either c:\apps\ptplayer or e:\apps\ptplayer. (if u cant delete it, try killing the task in appman first.)
