View Full Version : mmc card ..........help raja2281 17th February 2006, 15:25 i am unable to format my card. when i put my card in n3230 it shows formating complete though it is not..... when i put my card in n6630 it shows memory card already in use. plz help benjiro_isozaki 17th February 2006, 15:36 why dont u format ur mmc from pc?? or format using the "mmc format" code?? but i dont remember whats the code, search in how to section.. Dmoe 17th February 2006, 17:12 if memory card in use then means an app is open thats installed on mmc . Could be background app like fullscreencaller ,an anti virus etc. Wont show as running but will show using appman to show processes running on phone/mmc . To avoid all that hassle use suggestion above and format on pc. Make sure you disable any password on card first so pc can see card... aa10 17th February 2006, 18:04 easiest thing is to have a card reader.. cheap and not a lot of hassle.. and transfering files to mmc is a breeze.. daonlychiggi 17th February 2006, 20:39 yup. insert the mmc into the reader, right click on the drive frm my comp then select format. make sure u select FAT, not FAT32. lol much easier than havin to remember MS-DOS command :P raja2281 18th February 2006, 12:48 thx for the help things r better now. mod time to close the thread.
