hi,i know we can use Fexplorer to change the operator logo,and i've done it many times before.
however,all of a sudden,it doesnt work anymore. :(

i've formatted my phone many times,(today having reformatted twice :D ) but still cant set the operator logo :(

anyone have any solution? or know why this is happening?

btw,when i check the c:\system\apps\phone\ folder,the .bmp is there!
but when i go back to the standy mode,theres no change to my operator logo!

i always prefer use opman app rather then fexplorer. its much more simpler. just choose the image and choose set as logo, then just restart the phone.

you may need to reintall fxplorer.

just set the image as operator logo again.
or if u changed ur simpack to another subsciber, then ur logo will not appear

(included a pic as well,hehe...)

anyway,anyone know if anything bad will happen if i constantly change my operator logo?
will my problem reoccur?(has it happened to anyone else who keeps changing op logos?) or is it just my firmware problem? :D

congrats u finally suceeded... i usually keep changing logos on my 6630 no problem with me....but i would be risky for u to try !...

Use OpMan apps by searching this forum. Or simply, most of file manager app like FExplorer, SeleQ... have the funtion which can change operator logo.

me no luck with my 6630,, version 4.03.18 ive done all instructed using fexplorer,,,etc.....it doesnt change!!

Well mates about the operator logo...J tried everything.The problem is not the phone, its the network!J am from Greece using VODAFONE.When j made a test and used the TIM network's sim j was able to set a blank operator logo j wanted.The some with COSMOTE.But not with VODAFONE..So egoists..

I tried it 980 times with seleQ and fexplorer they all just restarts the phone and again show dirty INAirtel sign.. really fed up. u r lucky to get this done.. suggest something else

I suggest you to use OPMAN

I find FExplorer pretty convenient when changing logos...here's what I do...

I learnt this method the hard way,trying and erring..so there may be better ways..but this works for me none the same...

To add an Operator Logo:

1.Create a new folder as follows(in case folder does not exist)...[with FExplorer]

C:\system\Apps\Phone\OpLogo

2.Using FExplorer put the image you wish to use as operator Logo.

Note:

*.Image must be in bitmap format,(.bmp)
*.Image resolution should be 97*25.
*.Image name should be the ICC ID of the network operator,as per the following syntax...

"XXX_YY_0.bmp"

For example,for Airtel Kolkata,image name should be...

"404_31_0.bmp"

I' m using FExplorer v1.15 in a N-70, but i can't see any option about changing operator logo. Am I blind or something?
Any hint?

If you still havent find it its between "make dir" & "delete".In the options ,scrool right and you will see it.Have a nice evening

A simple solution that works for me everytime (But off late only for a while- after I have shifted to anoter operator)
Go to Settings-> Phone -> General -> Orig. Phone Settings
Select Orig. Phone Settings
It will reset but will show your chosen Operator logo.
Dont worry. You wont lose your files or programs. Only the few customizations like Profiles, Stand by keys, etc.
Enjoy. If you know of any other method, please do let us all know. :-)
