it's not too hard to learn how to rename a file extension. you can search on any major search engine and you should get the help you need. and secondly we should thank these contributors instead of nitty picking on everything. contribute any game you want and rename it to whatever you want and i betcha no one else is gonna make a fuss about it. cos these games come free for us. so give these contributors a break

Couldn't agree with you more on that, cause the question of "how to rename a file" has been asked and answered countless times on this thread alone, but I guess its easier to repeat that question and ask someone to write the answer for you than going thorough the "pain" of searching it in the thread.

Monopoly here and now is working alright for my 6280, what's the problem? Its in a zipped file so you have to unzip it first to get the jar file to install.

Lot of people seem to be confused about this renaming stuff.
I will suggest a simpler method. You can do the renaming while downloading itself. This is how you can do that:
1. Right click on the file that you want to download and select save target as.
2. In the save as dialog box there are two fields, one the file name field and the other is the file type selection combobox.
3. In the file type selection, select All files.
4. Now in the file name field, at the end of the file name, type in .jar
5. Now click the save button.
6. That's it your file is ready for use on the phone.

2.if you get rar file in which you have jar file like this : "holmes_240x320.jar" you just copy it on your phone

3.if you get rar file in which you have :

Another way is to rename the files at neroBurn ( v6 or 7). When yoa are ready to make a data disc, at the place where you chose the files for writing, you can change the type of the file from . rar or .zip to .jar. and than exit from nero, without burning anything.

You dont need to unzip the file, simply rename the extension only.

Download any game that you desire and place on the desktop.

1. Go to My Documents
2. Click Tools followed by Folder Options.
3. In folder options, make sure the following box is unticked > Hide Extensions For Known File Types.
4. Apply new settings and exit.

You will now see that the file you downloaded, shows its extension type > .rar, .zip etc. Rename the extension to .Jar (say yes to the warning box that appears and you're done).

Lot of people seem to be confused about this renaming stuff.
I will suggest a simpler method. You can do the renaming while downloading itself. This is how you can do that:
1. Right click on the file that you want to download and select save target as.
2. In the save as dialog box there are two fields, one the file name field and the other is the file type selection combobox.
3. In the file type selection, select All files.
4. Now in the file name field, at the end of the file name, type in .jar
5. Now click the save button.
6. That's it your file is ready for use on the phone.

My dear Митяй, just because you don't know this little game that I had the honour to contribute to this forum, it doesn't mean that it don't exist. It is not available on the www.gameloft.com website, as it surley is an unreleased Gameloft game. Not the only one e.g. Blockbreaker Holidays or Blockbreaker Xmas; threres some site on this forum where even the unreleased are listed, but I am currently unable to find it, even if SexyVegasManga is not contained in this list. Only thing I can tell you is to type "Sexy Vegas Manga" in google.com and you will get lots of replies. I will submit a pic of the game from the source i got it from, this may satisfy you, but I don't really believe in it and the only thing I can say is that it's a real pitty that dudes like you are cursing arround. Instead of being glad to get a unreleased game you have not heared of before you start to bug me with your complains. Maybe it's because the game doesn't run on your phone, but remember, you are not the center of the universe.

No, never Митяй. My first phone on which I could play proper games was a noki6600 and most of the games didn't work with sound on this mobile, so i got used to playing the games without sound. Doesn't really disturb me though :lol:
