These two doesnt seem to work on my phone (nokia 6280). or actually they work, but if I wnter a fight the sceen loads and then nothing happens (the music keeps playing and the game doesnt lock in anyway, othing just happen). You have something wrong with your phone then, those apps can't make your phone restart, the only time when this can happe is when you try to run them. Installation of the games itself cannot cause restarting of the phone.

Overview

The object of the game is to score higher than the other guy. Do this by performing combinations of tricks (never do the same thing twice in a row!). Any time you are not pulling off a trick you are loosing style. Your style modifies your score.

You will dunk automatically as long as you are not doing a trick. So time it carefully. If you fail the dunk you don’t get any points.

For an added boost, look for the special launcher on the court when the power jump icon (>>>) is active. But don’t spend too much time looking, if the shot clock hits zero you’ll miss your jump.

Based on the popular action movie, The Fast and the Furious pits you against five other street racers. The game itself is more like organized racing. You're given three laps per race, and the tracks themselves look like racetracks, not side streets.

Each race ends in the chop shop, where you can upgrade your car with prize winnings and money found on the racetrack. Items range from better steering to nitro boosts. After tricking out your vehicle, you can choose another race to compete in, provided you have enough cash on hand to pay the entry fee.

Digital Bridges was wise to give gamers two control scheme options. Control A has key 2 for gas, 8 for brakes, and 4 and 6 for turning. Alternatively, Control B uses 1/2/3/4/6/7/8/9 to move the car toward the respective direction immediately. In each system, key 5 gives a temporary boost if you have a nitro available.

Unfortunately, these control options don't really alleviate the game's slow response. The gas and brake work fine, but cornering is like trying to make a U-turn with a Cadillac--which is a serious defect in a game full of curves. Even purchasing steering upgrades from the chop shop doesn't seem to help.

The competitors themselves are generic racers--they are all the same blue/gray color--whose only intent seems to be to bump into you. This in itself wouldn't be frustrating if your car didn't slow to a crawl near an obstacle, be it a rival or the edge of the street. It's like every confrontation is made of mud.

The game concept itself is similar to Macrospace's excellent Crash 'N' Burn, minus the high speed, extensive options, and addictive gameplay. At least this one has Vin Diesel's mug pasted on it.

Luxor is a highly popular online game that, when I first picked it up, I thought was eerily familiar to another game. Let’s just say that it pays homage to that wonderful title but even so, there’s still plenty to like about this particular mobile game to get your consideration.

In Luxor, players must create matches of three or more spheres of the same color to destroy them and before they make their way into the Pharaoh’s pyramid. If all are cleared, you will advance to the next level. Of course, if even one sphere makes it into the pyramid, a life is lost and when all are gone, it’s game over.

The spheres will slither their way towards the pyramid in multi-colored groups being pushed along by scarabs. As like-colored groups are created and eliminated, more will find their way into the path until you have cleared enough to keep them from coming out. When an entire multi-colored group has been destroyed, the scarab itself will be destroyed and render a gem for extra points or a special sphere. The special spheres will have different powers such as slowing time, reversing the procession, or a lightning shot just to name a few. These will all be highly desired to help clear the level quickly.

The trick of the game is to position your shot selection in the right location to create the like-colored groups. You only have to move left and right on the screen, but since the multi-colored groups are constantly advancing, it’s difficult to time the shot correctly. At least the controls are tight enough to give you a solid chance. The spheres also use good contrasting colors to eliminate confusion.

Luxor is a fun game but can tend to get very challenging even in the early levels. This might try the patience of novice users but will please experts who are familiar with the game. It has enough variation in style to play differently than the “other” game but it also amounts to a good time.

the game didnt go fullscreen and filled the leftmost area with the bottom and right edge being filled with junk- game plays fine, but i have doubts it's 40v3 -more like 40v2 maybe?

Thanks for reply. As I wrote, it freezes when the game asks you to select sound for playing. It doesn't work with any key at all. However, I found another midnight pool posted by someone by other thread in this forum, but the minor problem is the resolution is smaller than 240x320.

this is a problem 4 two reasons...

first.... the problem is like an a PC runtime error.... forget for a fix...

second... there r games that have adiferent JAVA library.... a mascotcapsule library that the nokia phones dont support.... forget a fix to... jejeje...

Well, I have played The fast and the furious:tokyo, but when i've tried "Need for speed underground" i had a bad surprise. Tough it is based on the same engine as the game earlier mentioned, this one runs perfectly just before the first level :) To be more specific you can only see the indicators, the rest of the screen is black. Just send the extracted .jar files to your phone through Bluetooth,alternatively you could use the usb cable too,as soon the phone receive them it will autoinstall them in the phone's memory-so just move them to the memory card.Keep in mind that freeing your phone's memory and keeping it with maximum empty space is essential and prevents it from slowing down in processing capability.

When You save downloaded archiv (zip or rar) on hard disc, then click with right mouse button and select "change name". Next You must delete "zip" or "rar" and write jar. When computer ask Yoy if You want to change the name then You must confirm this operation. This is very simple and work perfectly.

and if u r still nt able to get that then follow the steps to change it...
Open My computer-->Tools(on the top left side of the window)-->Folder Options-->View-->uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file type"..
now rename the file as 'asdf.jar' instead of 'asdf.zip'

Warning: Once u have renamed the file remember to Check the "Hide extensions for known file type" option otherwise u might face problems in future while renaming...

In Rollercoaster Rush, you control the speed of a set of coaster cars as it moves through a short section of track. The tracks are full of loops and terrifyingly steep drops. Your job is to adjust the velocity of the cars to keep everybody safe -- but not too safe. You're graded on giving these thrill-seekers the ride of their lives, so you want to take them right up to the edge of death, lunging off the track at some points, but not thumb them over the precipice.

If you play too conservatively, you risk failure on two fronts: Either your riders won't have any fun, or you'll lack the momentum to keep them glued to the track on loops and drops. However, if you take them to the limit too soon, you can accidentally dip the front car too far down when flying off a ramp and slam it into the track below, which causes the all the cars to buckle. The addictiveness comes from wanting to find the happy medium, but then pushing it just enough into dangerous to earn some bonuses and see some wild rides.

The following games which have been posted do not work on my 6280, and you cant even open the .JAR files using a PC (both Winzip and Winrar say that they are invalid or corrupt files, only the .JAD files (when included) are readable, this is the same as if you buy a game and then copy the .JAD and .JAR from your memory card (you can read the .JAD file using a PC but the actual JAR is unreadable and will only work on the phone on which it was originally purchased or it is locked to the phone: -

first hit returned was getjear.com where I could download v1.01 of Freeflight...

what can I say its working just nice, fullscreen etc.

I even tried theVersion posted in the forum here, working as well ...

so for me both versions are working, possible that guys of you using older firmware versions, need v1.01 where compatibility should be improved
