Im not seeing alot of apps for S40 in genneral and even less for v3 (compared to S60 phones its very few things for S40) in these forums or anywere else, im just wondering why that is and if there is going to be a change in this?
Also apart from this question I have a few requests for my new phone (nokia 6280):
1. Im looking for some kind of text reading app. Id love to be able to reed ebooks on my phone (imagine reading in the wide angle of the screen, that would make a really nice txt screen)
2. Im looking for an IM app for MSN.
3. Im looking for a better multimediaplayer than the one that comes with the phine witch is quite lacking (i gennerally just want to be able to FF and rewind)

Also if any of you have any other apps for S40(v3 prefered :) ) id be very happy to take a look at them im you post them. Perhaps this could become a post your S40 apps here thread :)

so shouldn't any java game and apps from the SE s700 OR se w950 work?

That depends. Ive kinda regret not buying a s60 phone(ive got the 6280), because I cant get a text reading app for it, witch I would really like. However if your just looking for a phone that does all the 3g stuff exelent in every way - movies mp3s and sutch works exelent, then its a great phone.

I also bought a 6280 and starting to regret not getting a s60 device. The 6280 is easily one of the best phones ive ever had (Ive had heaps - work in a phone shop). If I could have waited the n80 would be my pick. s60 slider with wifi!!

but then, the price difference is quite big...guess that's why 6280 is cheap for a 3g fone...

So 6280 is an advisable phone? I was planning to buy that phone sometime this week and was planning to look for some tips from you guys in this forum. It looks pretty neat :P
