Flash lite 1.2 is up and running now support action script 2.0 which in no different then original action script except a few more kick ass procedures added.,developers worldwide are working on the stuff,its comes bundled with Flash proff 8,and in the very infacy even provide support on almost all popular mobile devices,

i don think so j2me is versitile the api provided r far better although limted action 99% phones have embeded java api not flsh i still prefer java not flash
