FileExplorer lets you manipulate the files of your Nokia phone,you can use the cut/copy/paste functions through the directories, you can also send files via bluetooth or infrared. Other usefull functions are also available such as making or removing directories, keeping the light always on etc.

* shortcut '8' has been added to rename a file

* it's now possible to choose with which installed application a file must be open ('open with...' function), this new settings is saved from one to another session of FExplorer, you can now choose your favorite MP3 player !

* when a file is in used by the OS (locked), it's now possible to copy it

* the setting files can now be placed everywhere (not only in the directory of FExplorer) even in an other 'drive', this allows to put FExplorer in EEPROM (for the siemens for example ...)

* it's now possible to set (in the settings) a password to enter in FExplorer, if this password is left blank, no password is required to run FExplorer, this password can have a length of 20 characters but it's not encrypted

* in the settings, it's now possible to choose if the system and hidden files must be displayed or not (in one time)

* in the settings, it's now possible to choose between the 'true icon' associated with a file or some built-in icons (app/sounds/pictures), this increase drastically the display of content of a directory when there are a lot of files

* in some new phones (like the 6680,...) the icons (of the files, tasks, processes ...) are not displayed correctly, this is fixed (thanks to Panu V. /Nokia for his great help)

good to get new version :-) prefer smartfileman but always have fexplorer installed to C in case an mmc app crashes things !

This should be FULL version..its originely a beta version yes..But since its been cracked,it should now be full..;)

Works fine with N70. The best file manager app for me too. And it keeps getting better with every new release... :)

What's the point in having this software cracked? The crack only implies tot the expiration date restriction of the software. By the time this beta (officially) expires there wil be a new beta of 1.16 with new features, and that anyone wants to have instead of the previous beta. So, nobody wil want to use the current (cracked) beta anymore. Quite pointless IMO to waste time on cracking this... after all, the final version of FExplorer is free. I guess it's a good excercise for those crackers ;)

does any1 face this prob on 1.16 when go into c:/ it hangs 4 quite sometime.. hav 2 press NO button then re-entry again, u'll see its in c:/ drive ady... any1 face this prob???

Yes i think its a bug i have so many filenames that have the "&" character & same as folder too it doesnt show! Hope this will be fixed when the final v1.16 release on end of March!& I hope its still free!:roll:

He wanted to say that he has still problems to see the icons associated with the files. This was a problem with the newest phone (6630, 6680 and N70)

I can confirm instead that the icons problem is solved by this version.

To Carlo5 (if you can read me :-) please make sure you use this version (1.16) and not 1.15

where it goes to the mmc straight away (like seleQ)
or still install in the phone memory first then to the mmc?

..Rename shortcut added, password in the setting menu, "true icon", etc.

am not sure if this version works on nseries phones particularly nokia n70 .... there was trouble if u try to attempt sending files thru bluetooth "unable to send protected files" still to check this version...thanx for the post anyways..more power dude!!!

u can't send .sis files bro` with FExplorer ... to send .sis files just use ProfiExplorer.
PS: FExplorer works perfectly on N70 :D ;)

No.

This version is not meant for n73. Search in OS 9.1 Apps sub-section. But you will need to self-sign the app before installing else it wont work!
