New Colour Schemes for the tomtom - Installation Instructions
1. Connect to your PC and open up the directory`s.
2. Look for a folder called "schemes".
3. If it does not exist, create one (ALL IN LOWER CASE & NO QUOTES) "schemes".
4. Copy and paste the 3 .clr files ("uk_day.clr", "uk_night.clr", "uk_night_in_blue.clr") into the "schemes" folder on your Go.
5. Close the directory and wait for the red cross to go out on the tomtom before disconnecting it from your PC - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
6. Go to the "change map colours" option on your tomtom menu (Change Preferences -> Next -> Next -> Change map colours).
7. Scroll through the built in schemes and you should see a new Icon called "plug-in schemes".
8. Select this and you should see the new schemes you've just installed.
9. Select/highlight which one you want for both day & night in turn.
That's it.
tested on my nokia 6680 works fine.

This PC program is for TomTom Navigator. You can use it with tomtom mobile and PDA version.It lets you change the colours of all the objects in Tomtom maps. It is very easy to use. The generated file (.clr) must be placed on the Schemes map.

Yes, u can use this scheme with Tomtom 5 mobile, i also use it with tt5.
If u cant find the Schemes catalog, just create one, and put the sheme inside of the map.

bro,
im attaching a pic, just look at to the pic.
U have to go to your mmc kart or where the ttm is been installed, then u wil find the scheme map if the scheme map doenst excist u have to create one and call the map SCHEME.

Well i have found this site must interesting and will try ad install some of the sounds and what have you....the part showing your folder layout was helpfull in understanding more of what to do as i suspect many have a hard drive full of sounds and bits of tom tom but do not know what to do with them so mabe a FULL tutorial is needed? can not some one cut and past somthing and make it into pdf ? a haynes manual for tomtom?? its an idea that may help?..but i appreciate your uploads and comments keep it up

and this version works perfectly with tomtom 6.
