It's bit slower than QuickOffice but it has more options - one of most useful for me is option to Insert rows and columns in excel files.
There are only two problems, as far as I'm concerned:
1. it's not possible to zoom out excel files to less than 100%. Text and cells always stay the same (at 75, 50 and 25%). Is it a bug or what???
2. reg code is not know, so we can't register the app

It tested fine on my 6630.
I was able to open Word documents with images inserted/attached in them.

To people who don't know, in order to zoom in and out, your phone must support fonts that are scalable, such as True Type Fonts (TTF).
To install or add True Type Fonts to your S60/UIQ, one solution is to use the freetype.dll distribution from symbian.com for SDK and third party softwares.
Symbian OS system libraries:
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
*WARNING* This will take up the available RAM in your S60/UIQ for each font you install in your S60/UIQ. (APPMAN will register that each font installed as being an opened file. Access to the fonts will be denied while they are being run, and therefore, you need to move the FreeType.dll driver from the "?:/system/fonts/" directory to another one and reboot to disable the driver.
Instructions for TTF on your S60/UIQ:
1. Download the file according to your phone, and install. (Or extract the neccessary freetype.dll driver, and copy it to your "?:/system/fonts" directory (to prevent any problems, it is preferable to install it into your secondary drive; for example E: - Memory Card)
2. Copy "TTF" files to the parent directory where freetype.dll is installed. For example: "freetype.dll" is in directory "E:\system\fonts\freetype.dll", copy your TTF files to the directory "E:\system\fonts\".
If you need "TTF" files, and you use a Windows operating system, you can find your native "TTF" files with the extension *.TTF in the directory "?:\WINDOWS\FONTS", where ? is the drive that Windows OS is installed on. For example: "C:\WINDOWS\FONTS\".
3. *WARNING* For every TTF file that you install, after reboot, the freetype.dll driver will load the files into the S60/UIQ operating system, consuming RAM. If the amount of memory occupied by the TTF files exceed those available to the RAM, this may cause your phone to crash or reboot. To solve this problem, use a file explorer such as FExplorer or FileMan to move the "freetype.dll" out of the "?:\SYSTEM\FONTS\" directory somewhere else, and reboot. This will reboot your S60/UIQ without the driver, and allow access to the previous opened TTF files that you wish to delete/uninstall.
I'm not sure if these drivers are the most updated, as they are dated 16/11/05.
I have also attached the two required files to this post.
EDIT: I started a new posting for visibility regarding TTF drivers for S60/UIQ.

Thanks a lot coffeking! I didn't know that! I'll try...
However, I don't have those fonts installed, and zoom out in QuickOffice works fine. I guess it's better implemented, or some small fonts come with QuickOffice itself.
Thanks again for info!

Yes, but that's exactly the way demo works. Read on official mobysystems site. After trial period, possibility to edit files lock up, and it's only possible to view files.

Hey everyone..
I thought I mention that after I installed MobiSystems OfficeSuite, I was never prompted to enter any registration code. I have not even attempted to enter any registration code.
Since so many people was saying that this didn't work, I tried out the insert "Date & Time" function, and all of them worked fine. I even tried to forward the time by changing the date to a year ahead (clock settings), and have never seen any registration message.
I'm not sure, but it seems to test fine on my mobile phone.
:rolleyes:

Are you sure? On my phone, they do insert fine, but instead of date, some function insert text: '(serial number)' For example, try to insert Day function.
I guess, we'll all see in 20 or so days... :)
My guess is that it isn't cracked, since it behaves exactly as demo.

:rolleyes:
I see what you mean now.
I didn't understand what every one meant by enter registration number.
"Serial_Number" in this case does not mean a serial number for the software. The "Serial_Number" refers to a form of date storage system used by Excel. Instead of storing dates by day, month and year, Excel actually stores dates as a form of a serial number. Each increment of 1 is equivalent to 1 day, 1 hour = 1/24, minute = 1/(24*60), etc.
Here are examples:
0 = 1/0/1900 12:00:00 AM
0.25 = 1/0/1900 6:00 AM
1 = 1/1/1900 12:00:00 AM
38784 = 3/8/06 12:00:00 AM
This was done by Microsoft as a mean to solve the millenium bug, and since MobiSystems OfficeSuite uses Microsoft formats, it uses the same functions as well.
If you input the function "=day(0)" you will get "0". If you input "=day(now())", you will get the number for todays day, "8".
If you'd like to test this, you can check out Microsoft Excel and input the same functions, and it too will request the "Serial_Number" format date.
Hope I answered some people's questions here regarding what "Serial_Number" means~
