The best GPS device to buy is: GlobalSat Bluetooth GPSBT-338

It has the very latest SiRF Star 111, and the battery has the longest usage time of all GPS devices on the market, 15 hours!

Cost around £125!

I have a socket bluetooth GPS reciever (think it is identical to this Emtac one)

I got it at the same time as my Ipaq 4150 and it works great - locks quite quickly without an external antenna. The only problem was getting tomtom to see it - need to tell tom tom its a cabled gps and set baud to 3600 but after that great

Get one with a sirf III chipset - especially if you've got an aethermic windscreen.

I just got hold of a "Tomtom GPS mkII" and it is WAY better than my old one. And it is based on the "sirfstar III" chipset.

I own a Holux GPSlim 236 bluetooth gps. I highly reconmmend it, has the latest Sirfstar 3 chipset. Also Nokia BL-5C batteries could be used to power the device

what about the specification that a "good" bluetooth gps receiver should have to get work well with S60 devices. I' mean the number of channels is important? the acquisition rate (speed in sec)?
What should we look for if we want to buy a bluetooth gps receiver?

Can anyone expand on this?

I finally bought the Fortuna Slim bluetooth gps receiver.
Works fine with my Nokia 6680 and Route 66 and some Python apps I tried
I've also seen Fortuna Clip-on that worked fine with a 6600 and Route 66.
