25OMB Hotmail Storage

1.Login into ur email and go to option.

2.Go to 'My Profile'

3.Enter as the following details below:
State: Florida
Zip Code: 33332
Note: Make sure u change the country into 'United States'
4.Click the 'Update' button then go back to 'My Profile'

5.Go to "Language"

6. Change the language to "English".

7.Go to h**p://by17fd.bay17.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/Accountclose (http://by17fd.bay17.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/Accountclose)
or h**p://memberservices.passport.net/memberservice.srf?lc%2043 (http://memberservices.passport.net/memberservice.srf?lc%2043), then close ur account.

8. Wait until the screen displays "your Hotmail is Closed and ready to be delete." or something similar.

9.Return to Hotmail

10. Login again using the account that you close temporarily just recently.

11. Your "Inbox" storage will be change to 25MB, and after 30 days it will increase to 250MB.


Note: Do not change any settings after you have done the above process.

this trick have been known and tested by me long ago. but this is meaningful for those who already have a msn account and do not wish to change his email. for those want to register new email account, they can simply for for gmail or yahoo which can get much bigger space straightaway... yet give u a big applause for sharing it here.

yes mate.. first time you do this,your hotmail storage increase to 25mb,then after 1month it will be increase to 250mb.

i did the 1 month waiting and it didn´t worked. my friends also did the trick and it never passed 25MB

maybe you changed the settings after you do the trick.if you do this,it will not worked.i already do this without changing the settings after doing this trick,and after 1month i get 250mb.:)

not shure but it could be. anyway i don´t need hotmail i already have gmail and my own network acount which uses my disk space to store messages.

Sometimes it takes way longer than one month! It took me 4 months to get my 250mb inbox. And for those who already have a storage space of 205mb are US residents - meaning they don't have to change their residing country/state in their profile.

mysteryinc, can I change back to my country after got 250 MB?

@waisheng89 .. sure you can change to ur original country back because your hotmail storage will keep remain 250mb.br:D

I tried this method for fun (as I'm no longer using hotmail) and it works! I have 25MB now. Just wait and see whether it increases to 250MB later...

You do not need to confirm your hotmail accounts has 250MB by doing the trick.. because hotmail did update so veryone should have 250Mb without doing the method

I think you are wrong. 250MB's account only available to USA's user...
