Additional Windows Mobile 2005 Notes

The software developer currently investigating an issue where an error is received upon uninstall (or reinstall) of applications. If you receive this error, you may work around it by using File Explorer on your Pocket PC to remove the applications install directory - for example, for Conversions In Hand you would remove \Program Files\CIH and all of its contents.

Specifically for pTravelAlarm, it may also be necessary to perform the following steps in addition to the above instructions:

Using File Explorer, rename the file \windows\pTAmgr.exe to something else (e.g. \windows\pTAmgr1.exe)
reset your unit (you'll get an error at startup about a missing file)
remove the renamed file

are u using win98? You need windows xp/2000 with the ntfs hd filesystem. Also the unicode japanese and east asian langs installed would help.

EDIT: the cr zip file says: S/N: 278-3965-1190

Kipe & qwerty111 thank you both for the help. Anyone able to open the Snoopsoft Dashboard 2.7.X, when I open the zip file it says its corrupted, the previous version (2.5.x) above it works fine.

Should I install app and then execute CAB file inside the ZIP after?

iggy2: the latest version of dashboard loads up fine into my winrar. Try the latest version of winrar. There is no serial or crack in the file. It's a retail version.

Epetejinch: I havnt actually downloaded this file because my PPC charger is messed up (only got 6% left and dont want to use it up :( ). But I think I am safe to say that it isnt needed. Just install the program and register with the serial in the other zip.

I had ptravelalarm v 2.5 installed and installactions makes an upgrade, so it keeps all settings, including registration info, so no problem and no choice using serial supplied.

The latest version is v2.6.1
