Glimmerati and WWP works on N6600.Crappy colors.

Thats XMen Legends "fix" never work on my N6600.Without any fix XMen Legends start but crappy colors.With "fix" won't start at all.X-Men Legends II and Virtual Cop needs nokiafc.dll to work on N6600.Virtual Cop in .sis format uploaded here include nokiafc.dll file.

Glimmerati works? How bout your BT? Does it messed up? Just want to add for N6630, Asphalt 2 works, but it can messed the game when you push left soft button and requires restart. I got this probs, can some1 confirm that this is universal or just me, thanks.
Yes it does...just don't push the left soft button and everything should be ok.

before you play new game make all sound off after the game load return sound on and enjoy.if u want to play other new game or exit the game make sound off

Let me help you out here.
It's quite easy....in one way or another the colorfix is automaticly turned off when starting up one of those games (had thesame thing with asphalt2). This is something you can do yourself: when starting up a game (with bad colours) push the red (hang -up) button(this does not shutdown the game but just exit it, so normally the game is still running in stand-by), now go to the colourfix app and activate it again, when activated choose the game-icon of the game again et voila bad colours gone.

but work with n90?
the problem of the n90 is the resolution very big of the display and with the color fix i have the game with color ok but not in full screen but in 1/4 of the screen!

Asphalt2 working perfect on FW4.03.38, others FW, i don't know but u can try checking the lib file. I'm using all in one lib by dmoe, install it and remove ecom and ecomserver.dll. Good luck.

those games work but with crappy colors, but u can try to run colorfix, but not turn it ON, but turn it OFF. Run games, push menu button, select colorfix off, hold menu button and run game again. Good luck.

what about a fix for Colin on 6630?
For all of u guys using 6630,who have color problem with Colin McRally... Don't panic!!! Here is what you have to do.

1) Start the game.
2) The game loads with fine colors... and then it goes to crappy colors after it reaches the main screen.
3) Now press the Menu button.(Here you are just minimising the game not closing it)

NOTE: YOU NEED A LOT OF RAM TO SWITCH APPLICATIONS OTHERWISE YOUR PHONE WILL HANG. ATLEAST HAVE 9MB OF RAM BEFORE SWITCHING APPS.

4) Goto to Sobol's Color fix and TURN IT OFF this time.
5) Switch back to the game using the menu button and voila good colors are back!!!!!!!

P.S: For freeing up memory, Press and hold the PEN key when the phone starts(booting process) and then use fexplorer or appman

i try to run it on my 6630 (v.5.03.08) and i see only "binpda presents" for 1 sec. and nothing more happens.
i have a color fix and multi fix from first post, and bluetooth is on.

Of all the guide's about NGage games compatibility I've seen, yours is definetly the best one! Not only do you mention wich games are compatible with wich phones, as you also provide the needed fixs or tricks to make the games work! You really do "resume" all the information that is required to play NGage games on other s60 phones that I've seen in many foruns in a single topic!

UPDATE:-- SC:CT not workin with n without the fix on the 6680 even with 8450 KB ram
It works on my 6630. If you still have the old original MMC (65mb) that was deliverd with your phone give it a format an install only the splintercell+fix+colorfix on it because the game won't start in combination with oher games & libs(believe me, if found out by trying all kind of combinations).you will see it works and btw the phonememory has nothing to do with the functionality of the game (my 6630 has around 4800kb free ram and the game works).

Hello, my phone is 6630 and i have installed colin mcrae, the color fix, the multi fix libs and the colin mcrae fix; but when i run the game he says me "system error". Why? My firmware version is 5.03.08. Can anybody help me, please?????

Hi, Can I ask U to make some colorfix for Siemens SX1 that will allow me to play Asphalt on it without those crappy colors? Game starts, framerate is quite good so weakness of the phone isn't the problem.

I'm desperate.. I've got 6630, and hundreds of times I tried to run SC: Chaos Theory.. everytime I try to run it I've got white screen for 2 seconds.. then the application closes itself.. (without any error message)...

couldn't get ashen to work on 6680 game doesn't load nothing happens what do you mean by no arena patched?You have to use Ashen 1.06, do not use Arena Patch version :)

that's a cool way to run ngage games... but whenever i change my mmc, all my icons get out of their folders :( and i have to fix them again...
i think i found the answer!!! there is a file in C:\ that keeps all icon/folder data stored and keeps reseting every time you change mmc! the file is in C:\system\data\application.dat
just backup the file, switch mmc's and then, voila! restore the file and everything is back in place! :O

menu profiles is small and great app :)
once you set it up.. it'll remember your icons location :)

just run app and save profile... choose some name
after you insert same mmc again.. run app and choose 'load profile'
phone must be restarted once again.. but icons will be nicely sorted in folders just like before :)

Try to delete "Programs" folder and put libs file in E:\system\apps\tombraider

N6620 it's "allmost" like N6600 (litle bit advanced).Try using Tomb Raider for N6600 and All In One os7.

hey, just in case anyone could managed to make work ssx on 6600/6620, i did it. i first installed "Tomb_Raider_s60_menu_fixed&repacked_by_Jagi", then i copied the system/apps folder of ssx (libs and the other one i didn't) the only problem is that i have no sound.... can someone help me pls

dont know... i dont have a n70 phone.... but tomb raider i made it work on a nokia 6620 first installing that menu fixed version... and i managed to get to the menu, but when i tried to start a game, the cell just hanged... then i installed an old tomb raider.blz version (without deleting the menu fixed) and it worked...

before, the game didnt work on my 6620...

i have no idea who is jagi but u have to download all in one sis for 0s7 inorder to play. tis sis version can be played on many phones. but i not quite sure if it works on n70.

hi i've the same problem when i cancel the original sis file of cmr (when i've installed it) so the only way is before start game close phone, than open phone and run immediatly color fix on than play it.
p.s.: i don'y know why but don't cancel the 30mb original sis file i've used to install the game...and it will works

Id just like to mention that rayman 3 is fully playable on the 3230 as the joystick works like a d-pad believe it or not i have already completed rayman becasue the joystick does allow you to crawl and so forth.

I downloaded the "tested on 6630.txt" and the Tomb_Raider_s60_menu_fixed&repacked_by_Jagi.sis, but the Tomb_Raider_s60_menu_fixed&repacked_by_Jagi.sis version not working fine... You'll find this in my list:

* Some Games listed as working don't seem to work on handsets with newer firmware and vica versa! (All tested on FW V 3.45.114 04-01-05 RM-1)

So your FW is much more recent than mine (I got my handset 12months ago) and I suspect this is probably why the fix isn't working for you.

Colin mcrae rally 2005 does not work in my 6630 ... it fixes and the color fixes installed in my telephone and this way everything I do not manage to make it work..

hi people, gr8 thread here, i installed fifa 06 and few other ngage games on my nokia 6680 and am having difficulty in getting them t work. on odd occasions the game loads but most of the times it say out of memory. im kindo new with all this and was hoping someone will give me a detailed yet simple instructions on how to fix this. thank you very much!!

when u get `out of memory` messgae, it means ur ram is not enough. try to use Fexplorer to compress ur ram, change ur theme to default when playin.

I've tried Asphalt Urban GT 2 and it doesn't work.

The .sis file versionposted by djwhite just messes up the screen when I try to play it.

The fixes here don't seem to work either.

Any help ? ... I just bought a 1 gig mmc to play these games.

it works or not at all? if it works, just press Red Key to minimize it, and run "ColorFix ON". Then return to game via Application Menu key.
if no, hmm... check if Bluetooth ON.

Ok ... I just got it working ... Asphalt 2 that is.

because the free call trick for colin mcrae rally is not working for me.
I mean, when i call a free number, i can play for 7-8 minutes, but then the free call ends!

'Out Of Memory' error everytime I try to play it :(

I played it about 3 times before this problem occured .... what I do notice is that the screen goes messed up when it happens ... this never happened when it worked.

snyy: Pls. download the ColorFix(On/Off) found on the first pages of this topic. It will solve fix all the bad colors of the N-Gage games for your N70.

i have all the libs i've enabled the color fix ... i don't know why it is not working ...

the problem of the n90 is the resolution very big of the display and with the color fix i have the game with color ok but not in full screen but in 1/4 of the screen!


Yes same problem here. Same issue with Pandemonium, if you switch task and switch back it goes to 1/4 screen and no response to key input.

Triying the fixes, i have already run a bit of games on my 6630, but when i install a new fix for a new game that i want to try, an older game stops working.
that it means that fixes are incompatible between them?
Maybe i have to install de fixes and games in order. Can you help me please?

plus im still working on glimmerati to fix the crappy color.. it is bcoz of 12bit ngage pallette.. nowadays S60 comes with 16bit/24bit.. im able to fix on S60 it but it wont run because of protection.. BiNPDA was able to do that but they dont remove it.. if anyone able to remove that protection(WBaesenc) i will be happy to release the fix...BTW.. i have tested my tiny app that will help you guys with memory problem and it is stable.. but it will cause no logs will be recorded..

How you are using color-fix ? First use "Color-Fix by Sobol.sis" and use it in this way:

First run the game and __before__ getting any game starting screen (mostly with Nokia Logo) press the menu key so that game goes into background and not able to currupt the screen color then run "Color Fix" On and when screen colors becomes crappy select the already opened n-gage game from task manager .... And color will become good in game.

For system-rush you first need to run color-fix and then the game.

The color fix for OS 8.0 isn't working fine on my 6681. I installed Asphalt and when I start it it shows only on top half of the screen, and in split mode (" screens) with messed up colors. After I start color fix the screen is normal, but colors are still messed up. Anyone had that problem? I tried both color fixes.

ok... seems like u have the same problem as i did... no solution to it unfortunatelly... :(
what i did was this... i gathered a few bucks and i bought a N70!!!! AND IT WORKS! so i suggest u do the same... N70 has 30mb RAM "/ , 6630 has 9 at best...
i dunno if this solution is for everyone but i really enjoy my new phone. i had 6630 for a year and was really happy with it. but no memory, no radio, no flash...
anyway, that's my solution to the CMR 2k5 system error... GET A N70!!!

omg omg omg I got a 6630 today, one of the reasons was playing all those games I couldn't play on 6670... just installed asphalt 2, and it works like a charm... what a refreshment, after playing the mutilated 'generic' s60 version, to hear moby's 'lift me up' and drive a whole bunch of new cars :D

to clarify the installation process for noobz (like I am), I first installed all in one os7_os8, then asphalt2, then fix for asphalt2, then the multiFix, then color fix...
reboot the phone, start asphalt2, red button, color fix ON, menu->asphalt2, and PLAY :D

yes theres 2 versions in this forum, sis installer and system folder, since i dont like sis cos i dont like it messing with my libs folder, i have the system one working fine on my N70(turn on bluetooth, and run it from fexplorer) that game rocks, also this is gonna be the second part of the game *drools* (watch the trailer)

that game along other "next generation games" and ngage games will be fully implemented without need of cracks(you can buy them specifically for ur phone) for symbian s60 3rd generation devices so just be patient :p

Too Bad , you want N-gage game run on yours phone? Impossible....
Only S60 ver2, phone support it... example N90 ,N70 ,3230 ,6630 ,6680 But not 100%...

Ps: Change yours phone the Only option (or just getz a N-gage)
ps: There is a rayman java game ,try to search for it .... (read the detail before download)

Get "color fix" from the first page of this thread. Install "color fix". After starting the game, quickly press the menu button(this should be done before the N-Gage screen is shown). Now, turn color fix ON. Then return to the game, the colours will be okay.

No, The more appz installed on his phone or the phone come wt chinese text support . that's mean even close all the 3rd party apps still not able to run N-gage game.

Those memory usage are diffrent (not phone C: or E: memory space) it's the internal memory for runing phone apps and others extra apps . By install "AppMan" will show the information for the "Ram" usage on the phone . For example you will need 8MB of RAM memory to run N-gage "TonyHawk's Pro Skater" anything less then that , the phone will show "out of memory" The best way to reduce those usage you need uninstall some start up apps and then restart phone.
The less apps is installed on the phone . the more chance to run those game.

ps: The more apps runing on background , the less memory for runing others Application!

dude i think i have clearly mentioned ... i have done everything told to be done ... so yes i have installed the MFIX

anyways... i some how managed to install it ... now the problem is when i first ran the app it gave a "memory low" thingy, so i rebooted the cell ...
now what happens is .... the app gets started and just when it is abt to reach the main page the cell reboots automatically ...
so now what am i suppose to do ???

regarding the appman .. i am just searching for it and will inform u in a few min ...
