hey guyz, i've seen a lot of people asking for PS1 games to play on their PPCs on Mr. Hurrah's thread, so here's a thread dedicated to converted PS1 games for PPC, all created by me ;). for the required apps to play PS1 gamez on ur PPC, hav a look at Mr. Hurrah's thread posted a few pages back. instructions will always be included in the game .rar archive.

I'm using i-mate jasjar
i run FpseCE and finally i get a screen with a menu displaying
memory card / cd player / main menu choices
choosing both of them can't make game to start..
what am i doing wrong..
what do i have to choose in order to play the game??

but um here's the bad news

i'm not sure about the new ppc's but on mine, the frames per second was 18-19

so the game was really slow to play, otherwise yes it works but i guess the hardware requirements is the issue as i did play a game but it was really very slow :(

oh well, i hope someone can figure out a way to do something

BTW, since i don't own a PPC yet, i was wondering how u use the controls, since u mainly use the touch screen?? this question has been racking my brains 24/7 lol

EDIT: try toggling the frameksip, that might fix the slow FPS prob. pls post result here :)

there are several gamepads on the market, would be veeerrryy cool to play it with a gamecontroler 8)

honestly daonlychiggi - u did a great job so i have no complaints - it's good to have peope like you supporting this forum

well i use the ppc buttons but the software also has the portrait layout which allows you to use touch screen buttons - it all depends how you map your buttons..

Yep,it works but in slow motion,i got round 100 fps.
I use a orange spv m500/qtek s100.
But what is now the problem? is my 416 MHz the problem or my 15MB ppc memory size.
Can the slow motion be solved? cause PS1 games beats every other games.
Damn it's awsome if we can play grand tourismo or medievil .

P.s can someone explane how the Pocket.ISO works

The PSX emu does, but not Tekken :(

Well i tried it on the Qtek 9100/Imate K-JAM en it's worse.Only got 20fps.So we need realy a faster processor.
Tuningszocske it works on wm5.but slower then wppc 2003se

heheh.. i think it's so far away to play ps one smoothly on our ppc, even with 400 mhz ++ proc as the GBA emu just run smoothly on 400 mhz ++..

does any one have more games or a converter

I got final fantasy 7 disks 1 and 2 to run at 25-35 fps on my ipaq but disk 3 wont work lol. stupid double =(
