i upgraded my n70 firmware to 3.0546.2.3 like 2 days ago.
everything is somewhat faster now, but i got these stupid quick launch items on my background. right below my profile name.
i cant seem to find any option to switch them off.

its not that its really irritating, but its ugly with every theme.
if some one knows how to turn it off, plz reply.

you go to settings -> display and disable 'active standby' mode. -)
