i see many ppl cel fone r restarting problem in 7610,6630,6680,n70 they ask abt me i tell them install antivirus latest ver Symantec-mobile-security scan n format ur cel fone... but same problem .. they flash frm service center they solve problem .. can any 1 noe abt this ?? sorry for week english ....

What do you mean by 'restarting problem' ?

Usually when you reformat your phone, it should all be okay. If that doesn't work, get the latest firmware.

sorry m8 but it would have helped you greatly if you had explained the problem more clearly then the solution you provide...coz restart problem can be for various reasons like....
1> 3rd party application incompatibility

2> installing Ngage *crackd* games on i MMC(may be single like sims is known to do that or multiple installs causing library database to become unreliable...but here the system updates by 8dmoe* help sometimes)

3>some ppl play around the system folder in ya phone directory with file explorer softwares not having a clue wat they are doing and not have a flicker of a idea what this will do to the phone(so a complete NO NO to al newbies)

4>this happened with a fren of mine he had installed the music player file of the Ngage classic on his NgageQD root folder to see if it works....and....lol...you can guess wat happened next

My advice use the phone like a novelty when you don have a clue.....use the phone like a phone when you learn things noe=w and then....and.....use it like a test tube when you think you can handle the consequences or be capable of paying the bill of a phone flash!!!

other reason which may sound wierd but does occur is drainage of battery...
believe me i have come across ppl calling it a day with their phones when they realise that it was about time they recharged the d**n battery...LOL

it is not just because of program incompatability or installing cracked games or messing with the system folder.. it can also be because of the phone- something wrong with the phone or firmware problem which is not solved by formating the phone.. my 6260 usually restarts if i keep switching between songs in real player or even make calls with my headset connected... so the only solution to such a problem is a firmware update..

yeah commwarrior virus is too common...i install anticommwarrior but infected logo still on main screen wen u 'l format then i logo romvoe ... i tink restart prob 'l solve thru flashing ... but no 1 noe dis problem ...

time it shows the main screen and disappears......after ten to 15 minutes

Most of s60 have this problem. Sometime they just restart itself without you even touching your phone.

This happen to my 6670 and 6680 too. Even soon after I bought them and before I started to install anything on it.

Please don't simply blame the virus for anything unusual on your phone! Yours might be caused by virus (as some virus do retart your phone) but I'm sure mine is NOT! I know what I'm installing...

In that case, those sets tested by you must have been infected by virus.

However, do you know an s60 phone does sometime restart your phone without you noticing it? And I've said it happens on my 6670 and 6680...not forgetting I have Symantec Antivirus with latest virus definitions update installed on them...

Take out your MMC go to C:\System\Bootdata and del Firstboot.dat, restart your phone, it will ask for time and date, off again insert your MMC and turn on the phone again, it should work.

samr problem with my n7610 but i found the solution is that when i select a theme which is install on my mmc and my mobile restart automaticaly and when i select default theme my phone works fine i format my phone and mmc both and cool my phone works again :finga:

my phone also get a new virus..it's called "commwarrior-outcast". maybe is new version for commwarrior.

bro it restart ur fone just u install anticomm.... n install sym antivirus n scan .. n format ur fone 101% workin .. :)
