iPODDER

the premier Podcasting application, allowing users to capture and listen to Internet audio programs anytime, anywhere. If you want to listen to internet audio programs (podcasts) music and shows but can't listen to them when they are scheduled this program is for you. It allows users to select and download shows and music and to play whenever they want on their iPods, portable digital media players, or computers automatically, after specifying which music or shows they want to listen to.

hope you enjoy this....
but if you really enjoy the podcasts you are hooked upto then my advice is to suscribe them via itunes itself as this helps to sustain these 'free' podcasts ;-)

a full-featured, easy-to-use Windows application that connects with Apple's iPod. With a FireWire card and EphPod on a PC, it takes under 30 minutes to transfer 1,000 songs to an iPod. In addition, EphPod supports standard WinAmp (.M3U) playlists, includes powerful playlist creation features, and will synchronize an entire music collection with one click. It imports Microsoft Outlook contacts, in addition to allowing users to create and edit their own contacts. EphPod can also download the latest news, weather, e-books, and movie listings to an iPod.

It features advanced media managment with an Artist-Album display, full playlist support, intelligent syncronisation with your Winamp Library and the ability to copy songs from your iPod to your hard disk. iTunes is not required. iPod2PC

this handy application enables you to copy MP3-songs from your lovely iPod back to a PC's harddisk. Transfer easily your music library to another PC to play them there or make a backup of your songs. Even if you use your iPod as a "transfer medium" and copy songs without iTunes to your iPod, or if your iTunes DB-file became corrupt or unreadable - it shows them to you because all information are read from the ID3-tags in a MP3-song.

iPodWizard (iPW) is a program for Microsoft Windows that allows you to change the fonts, graphics and text on your iPod. iPodWizard can also uncap the volume on any european iPod (excluding 1/2/5G). The program is safe and simple to use, and is completely free.
It was originally developed by an ipodhacks.com member called iPod_Wizard, who has disappeared since early 2005. WiBu took the program further with the iPodWizard website which covers all aspects of iPod news as well as providing forums for the community. An iPodwizard member, Kingstone, is in the process of updating the software, adding much needed features.

The latest stable version of iPodWizard is 1.2

iPodulator

Enter a URL above (starting with HTTP://) and hit "iPodinate." It will take a moment to process. The URL can be a web page or an RSS feed. For webpages, always see if there is a "printer-friendly" version for iPodulation. This will give you a plain text formatted version of the site you enter, perfect for reading on your iPod. Note: the page will look badly formatted on your computer. Don't worry, it will look great on your iPod.

To save it to your iPod: After hitting "iPodinate," use the "Save As" command in your web browser (usually found in the "File" menu) to save this file to the "Notes" folder of your iPod (Apple's instructions) or save it to someplace on your computer for later copying to the "Notes" folder. That's it!
To read the file on your iPod: On your iPod:
1. Go the beginning of your iPod's menus. Select Extras and you will see a range of options including Notes.
2. Select Notes and you will see all files and folders inside the Notes folder.

Limitations
Here are the limitations of reading on your iPod using the Notes feature:
1. The Notes folder on your iPod can hold very large text files, but iPod can only display the first 4 kilobytes (KB) of text, or about 4096 characters. (more info)
2. Only compatible with these iPods:
The Notes feature is available on iPod models with a dock connector including:

* iPod mini
* iPod photo
* iPod (Click Wheel)
* iPod (with Dock Connector)
* iPod Nano

Bookmarklet
For those crazy about bookmarklets! Here is the iPodulator bookmarklet (clicking it will create an iPodulated version of whatever your looking at):
iPodinate!
To install:
Drag the link above to your bookmarks bar (in some browsers), or just copy the link and add it as a bookmark.

iPodulator for Webmasters
Give your readers an easy way to read your site on their iPods!

vivt the site to ipodulate any and everything remember that on the computer the saved text looks attrocious but on your ipod it will look amazing....!!!

Introduction

PodUtil is an easy-to-use utility for viewing the songs on your iPod and copying them in a customisable organised manner to your computer. Once copied, PodUtil can add your songs back to iTunes and rebuild your playlists.

PodUtil 3.0.1 is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Powerful Track Selection

With PodUtil, you can choose what music you'd like to copy quickly and easily. The "Quick Ruleset..." feature lets you quickly queue a batch of songs based on a single piece of information. If you'd like a little more control, the Ruleset Builder gives you just that:

iTunes Integration

PodUtil can scan your iTunes Library on startup. This lets you compare your iPod's music library to your iTunes library - PodUtil will tell you if a song is in your iTunes library or not, and will even show tracks that are similar.

Copying

PodUtil has a powerful but easy to use editor that lets you specify exactly how you'd like your songs to be copied to your computer - simply drag and drop tags to set up how your songs organised and named. For more information on Copy Settings Tags, see the Copy Settings Tag Reference.

Portability

When you're on the move, it can be a pain to keep your settings and registration details current on each computer you use. As of version 3.0, PodUtil solves this problem by introducing iPod Profiles. Each iPod you use with PodUtil gets it's own profile, which stores settings on a per-iPod basis. If "Allow Roaming Profile" is enabled, these settings will be stored on the iPod and picked up by any copy of PodUtil 3.0 or higher you connect your iPod to. You can take this a step further by purchasing a PodUtil Anywhere license - your registration will then be stored in your iPod's Roaming profile and used by any compuer you connect it to.

You can even install PodUtil onto your iPod so you don't have to install it on every computer you use.

Registration

PodUtil costs £10, and has two different licenses:
Computer License (PodUtil)

* Registers PodUtil to a computer
* You can use this copy with as many iPods as you like

iPod License (PodUtil Anywhere)

* Registers PodUtil to an iPod
* You can use this iPod with as many computers as you like

For more information on PodUtil's licenses, please see our Which license is right for me? article. If you're upgrading from an earlier version of PodUtil, you may qualify for an upgrade discount. See our upgrading page for more information.

Windows

PodUtil works just as well on Windows as it does on the Mac. However, for song previews to work you'll have to download the free Quicktime. Don't be fooled by all the Mac screenshots here - we just made this page on a Mac. PodUtil for Windows works just the same as the Mac version, and the interface is almost identical. Just greyer.

If you purchase a PodUtil Anywhere license, it will work with both Windows and Mac versions of PodUtil.
