clear browser cache and cookies and another solution is change browser ! Worked for me and also aric who faced similar problem . Seems the browser you use can dramatically affect how the site runs for you from terrible on 1 browser to excellent on another browser . Give a try and post back results please. Br . Dmoe

try testing on ie6 or opera browser although i expect your happy with firefox checking site with these 2 will be needed to confirm or dismiss a browser problem through your service provider.

this can also happen because of problems with the server. sometimes when there are too many people acessing the forum you get that message but after a short while its fixed.

Do u think the fact that nowadays everyone uses tabbed browsers, aggravates the server load further??

Mark

the problem is not that its because the server his too overloaded of files and it gets like that when many users are online. if the server had less stuff this problem wouldn´t happen.

Are files that don't get hits anymore deleted??U know, like Rapidshare deletes files from their server after 30 days of no downloads??

Mark

no that normally shouldn´t happen. although very old attachements like a year or more back are not uploaded anymore. but still its a lot of stuff.

all threads over 1yr @ june 2005 moved to archive section . This section alone contains an abundance of mb/gb and as a rule is never accessed because all files there are old versions and often relevant to archaic models like 7650,3650 . This section could be cleaned to ease things a little but wouldnt make a major dent in server load...

@Dmoe sorry but i dont be in ability to anwer you soon on your question.
It's same problem, i change browser (my default is firefox, and change to Opera, Mozilla, IE6 & IE7, Flock, MyIE....) and clear the cookies and temporaly file's but problem is same, and again again again.

Like more people before this my post, i think that the problem is server type, not Browser.

When we up-load some file's on this forum, does that stored on same server when is board or some other server?

I think that the problem....same sarver and too much people, visting, donwloading, uploading, its very huge bandwith!
