You must click on the links below directly from your Curve, so it is imperative that you send yourself the OTA links below to your Curve.
[As usual, make sure you have all other themes uninstalled and the maximum amount of memory available to ensure AppleBerry runs as intended. Please reboot your device after install and give AppleBerry approximately 20 minutes to warm up.]
Thank you very much for purchasing the AppleBerry Suite for the BlackBerry Curve 8500. This document contains all of the information you need to successfully download AppleBerry. You should save it, but if misplaced you can request it to be sent again from the CrackBerry/Mobihand store.
Installation Instructions
Installing AppleBerry is very easy and requires minimal effort.
1. Available below these instructions are a set of ten OTA links. OTA links are "special" links that only your BlackBerry can understand. These "over the air" links allow you to install AppleBerry directly from your BlackBerry, no computer required, literally "over the air" using your BlackBerry data plan.
2. Copy and paste the OTA links below and send them to your device. The easiest way is to copy and paste them into your favorite email program, and send them straight to your BlackBerry. Alternatively, you can manually type the OTA link address into your device's browser, just make sure that you capitalize where required. (the links are case sensitive)
3. When you receive the email on your device, open it and click on any of the OTA links using your device. This will begin the automatic download and installation process.
4. Once the download completes, go to Options (the wrench icon) -> Themes -> and click on AppleBerry.
5. Once it loads for the first time, make sure to restart your device (battery pull). This gives AppleBerry a fresh start.
You must click on the links below from within your Curve. Either copy and paste this entire document and email it to your Curve, or manually type in the links below in your Curve browser. The links below cannot be downloaded to your PC or Mac.

Understanding the different features
Transitions: Transitions in AppleBerry allow the device to "slide" from screen to screen as you navigate messages, folders, and other application menus. It is purely cosmetic, but it is very popular. Transitions are only available on the OS 5.0 versions of AppleBerry.
Hidden Today: Hidden Today allows you to access your upcoming calendar events and unread messages directly from your homescreen. To use this feature, place your calendar / messages icon somewhere on the homescreen. When you touch the calendar icon, you will see your upcoming appointments appear until you highlight a different icon. To view unread messages, touch your "Messages" (envelope) icon when the red asterisk symbol (indicating an unread message) is over top of it, and your unread messages will appear. Please note, it will not display old messages, just new, unread, messages.
Extra Icon Slot: An extra icon slot can be handy if you want to have your favorite weather program on your homescreen. Alternatively this can be used for programs like MeterBerry or QuickLaunch. (or anything, really) This icon is placed on the top left of your homescreen, and whichever icon is in "slot 1" of your Application Menu will appear in the top left.
